  • Were is Dynamic?

  • @Joefernandesjoe

he he good question! went asleep?

  • That was a pretty good job. Nice and slow, very clear. Haste makes waste.

  • Slow? Yes... But that is not a problem.

II am still not satisfied with the waza, but I am impressed with the person.

For 3rd kyu, it is a great thing to have a calm and non-hesitate action and movement.

    Anyway, that's my opinion.

I am interested to see how he is doing in his shodan now.

  • I think what he has done in his exam is okay. Although some says it is slow, but his movements are very flowing like narutal water.

He can still improve anyway, that what aikido is... Improving. :)

This was posted last December 2007? Perhaps this guy is already Shodan. I think he should post his Shodan exam so that we could see his improvement. ^^,

Well good job for this guy, thumbs for you! n_n,

  • I must agree with others. Very slow! No speed and dynamics! Sorry but I think You wolud not pass in my dojo. This speed could be approved at 6th kuy exam but at 3rd kuy??? I'm also near 40 and a a begginer in aikido, but execute techniques much more faster! (but of course if only i know them ;) )

  • i think it´s a great jobe. At this level, speed is not important.

  • Must disagree! Speed and dynamic are important at every level! May be it wolud be good at 6th kuy but not 3rd!!

  • Speed with a great tecnic, is a fast disaster.

I mean, till u get shodan level, you only need to do correctly every tecnic, but not need no do it has fast as possible.

have you got a video from your dojo?

  • slow rythm...

  • isn't it a bit (big bit) slow for a exam???

  • My dojo, the sensei's just do anything. From first sho-dan to 10th kyu. I'm testing for my 5th soon. ^_^

  • Looks easy...How much have you left out? Mine, for the respewctive kyu, took about 2 hrs with 27 techniques in all. And yes, why so slow?

  • ha ha

  • Very nice uke's :-) the irimi-nage was a disaster LOL

  • why is it so slow? Is it a rule in your dojo that it should be slow?
