The high register she uses makes it difficult for her to sing live. Throw in dancing and it's impossible. Her natural register is low so it's why she has a hard time singing live regardless. Not to mention they add "effects" to tweak her voice in some of the songs which makes it even harder. But when she's in a relaxed controlled environment where she can do several "takes", she sounds great. She just needs to incorporate more of her lower register.
