First you chant on the streets and as you are doing that you distribute the literature, otherwise it can come off as disruptive. Find devotees to chant and do Harinama-Sankirtan with on the streets and it will be more successful.

because after all christianity stemmed out of the middle east, and the europeans were forced to ditch their previous religion that they were comfortable with, or else punishment and death would ensue anyone who dare remain a non christian, (Catholisism is a blend of old original pagan ways, with christian doctrine because people in that country werent gonna give up their original faith so easy and the church knew that so they had to blend it) then history took its course.

wow so i guess charitable activity done by a hare krishna is less valuable than that of a christian?!?! sad indeed. Prabhu don't give up handing out those pamphlets. I got one several years ago when I was an atheist and I didn't realize it but it planted the seeds of God consciousness in me. They make a difference even when people don't realize it.
