@zrifepsych of course i did NOT invest in materia for enemy skill is all that is needed...use some tranquilizers on the people with aeris in party when u gert out of shinra...have her limit set and ready as u hurt the midgar zolom and then when it uses its beta attack IMMEDIATLY use the limit to prevent the auto attack it does after then it dies in about two hits from quake...u have the most powerful fire magic for a LONG time until aqualung and trine...

i downloaded this game on my psp, they allow it to be transferred from psp to be played on your PS3. Playstation store lets you download ps1 classics for a small fee. Then use a cord to play them on PS3.

@meapickle Sorry, but I have to disagree. Been playing lots of FF recently. Before I beat only 4 and 9, now I've beaten 1-10. In my opinion, FF6 was great but they focused on the wrong characters. I feel like Locke and Celes should have been the main peeps. Terra really didn't feel like a hero for the first 75% of the game and had no redeeming qualities. That's one of the reasons I like 8 better than 6, plus the obvious story reasons. Romance in 8 > 6 to me.

FF7&FF10 are my absolute favorites because you could customize your characters to deal MAX damage. Each and every one of them. FF8 was good for that too... kind of.lol FF9... MOST could, but sometimes it depended. Didn't like the Job class system weakening characters unless they used an UNGODLY amount of MP to summon to deal the slightest damage.

We all want a remake of FF7 hell even the creators of FF7 want a remake of FF7, however, it would take so much time to make a game like the original it not to mention be astronomically more difficult to give the same product in better graphics. Not to mention including voice acting, building movable backgrounds (background's that can be viewed from more than one angle, which is so exhausting of a process most designers on the ps3 and 360 just say F%#$k it and make the background stationary)
