If the big W was still here it would been a more clean and professional until they went back to its traditional classic WB shield which we all loved very very much.
I remember these; they used to be on the VHS versions of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Pee-wee's Big Adventure where the "WB" logo would stick out of the sky.
This is definitely a "might-have-been"--if Warner Brothers had decided to keep that logo instead of going back to the big "WB," the fanfare would have made the logo all the more attractive than it was.
Actually, this fanfare DID accompany this version of the logo. I have several old Warner Brothers VHS tapes that feature this logo and fanfare. I might be mistaken, but I THINK it's also at the start of the original VHS of THE GOONIES
Uncanny how well they fit together timing-wise. What I'd REALLY like to hear is a period-correct rendition of the fanfare performed on a Moog or ARP synthesizer.
This music was later used for "Juniorfan89's" logo for "Juniorfan88 Productions" with the WB spoof. As for the this classic red logo, this symbol means that Warner Music Group is evil than the "V of Doom". This is to WMG, SCREW YOU!!!!!!
Guys, do you remember the great mixed trailer with Charles Bronson and some exploding building? I think they had it on all Warner VHS´s in the 80´s. Love that song, possible to find it here?
priannah is joe dantes first movie i think? he made movies like the howling and looney toons back in action anyways type in prianah and click the first vid then you'll know
Pirannah is this real cool B movie, about A bunch of Pirannha that are dumped into A lake, and terrorize the local population;it was short of A poor man's Jaws.Kevin Mccarthy of Invasion of Bodysnatchers starred in it.
@supremetaco I believe the poster is referring to Joe Dante's monster movie PIRANHA; at one time, Warner had the videotape rights to the movie and released it on VHS and Beta, so they may have attached this logo to the head, even though the film itself was a Roger Corman production for New World Pictures.

@supremetaco No it's not a spoof. This is how the warner brothers used to introduce their properties...
and pirannah is obviously a typo of piranha
