@Goldie450 Hi Goldie! I'm not sure if we immediately go to Heaven, or if we have to wait until judgment day for that. That's an interesting question that I really don't have the answer for. And I never like to give an answer if I don't know the total truth. From what the Lord says in His Word, it seems as though we sleep until the day of judgment.......with some awaking to eternal life, and others to eternal death. I'll have to do more digging on that though. What do YOU think?

is marijuana a temptation you must go against to earn the lords salvation?

No. There is nothing that you can do to earn your way to Heaven. Salvation is a free gift to those who put their faith, hope and trust in Jesus Christ. Marijuana is a temptation that you must go against, however, if you want to live a life pleasing to the Father. In His Word, He tells us to take good care of our bodies aka "temples". Smoking marijuana is HAZARDOUS to our living temples. His Word also tells us to "submit to our governing authorities". It's against the law to smoke weed.

Therefore, knowing what pleases the Lord and knowing how He would like for me to live my life, I choose to abide in His Word. I am not perfect and there are definitely many things I still have to work on. But my ultimate goal in life is to please my Father in Heaven and bring glory and honor to His name. If you are a true believer in Christ, you will want to do the same.

body, does the father the lord of holy spirt allow miind alerting thing such as riddeline or other fixins? also what if you are in need of medical marijuana? also what if you have been intoxicated by somone else who slips you a roofie, does that count?

You mean Ritilan? Like, for ADD and ADHD, right? I'm not too sure about stuff like that cuz I haven't really sought the Lord about those things. And I don't like to give a specific answer to something that I'm not sure about. If you're really seeking the Lord's will with stuff like that, I encourage you to pray and ask Him. Begin reading His Word and see how He leads you. Need of "medical marijuana"? Good question. If it's prescribed to you then in that case, it wouldn't be illegal...

It would still be bad for your body though. Of course, if you're already dieing and in critical condition, then I don't see how it would matter. I would always first seek the Lord to make sure that He is alright with something. And if He's not, then find another way (that is, if you are trying to live a life pleasing to God). And if somebody fools you into taking a drug, then you obviously cannot be held accountable.
