I feel sorry for the ref. When the player came over to him and put his hands on the ref, the ref had a natural reaction to strike out and defend himself. His body took over and he hit the player having no time to think about what he was doing. You can see as soon as the ref hit the player that the ref was actually surprised at himself for what he had done lol
