I've read some of the show interviews as well as the character profiles on USA's website and it really does sound like they intended M/D to be the show's lead couple. M/D should happen, but N/D should be the endgame. N/D should not happen before M/D what with Nico having commitment issues and Dani having trust issues. They both need to grow first, which suits television's need to keep the main couple apart until the end of the show. Respect the chemistry intended or not!

Yes like-minded people! USA seems to be promoting Matt/Dani, but I think Nico/Dani is a much more interesting dynamic.
