Well actually I play clarinet and that instrument looks nothing like it. ^^" I wondered what that instrument was too and I did a little research on it and I found out its actually an electronic wind instrument (often called EWI or Wind Controller.) You can look up other videos here on youtube of people actually playing it at jazz concerts and stuff like that. :3

I think you mean loli............ not chibi. Chibi is when the head is big and not proportional to the body and usually are simplistic in style. Loli is when people are under about 14 basically, and zun did that on purpose, to make it more acceptable, their canon ages are rarely under 100. Reimu and Marisa are the youngest and are about 14.

its a fad that goes with these videos. ever since the first EWI videos on touhou, all the charecters have been in swimsuits. the charecters are all from the touhou series of games, witch are really hard shmups. touhou wiki has a lot of acurate information on the games, and the 55+ charecters and each ones personalitys.

For all those making fun of Yohmu's lightsaber: that IS one of her spellcards in IaMP. It's called Meditation Slash and is the second most anticlimactic way of defeating Suika on her final spellcard

Makes sense. Then again, I'm only commenting on what I've seen. Makes me see what would be easy when I finally get to playing IaMP.

At least it's not how anticlimactic it can be when playing SWR. Whether it's getting a skill up to max level (like Reisen's mind dropping and disorder eye) or using a character who's 2B (like Komachi) or 2C (like Suika) work as an anti air. At least some characters fight someone else in SWR.

think about this: the entire Touhou cast lives for the sake of a good fight; you cannot represent them as merciless warriors, therefore you have to compensate somehow, and it was by amping the cuteness factor. My feeling is that, had ZUN not done so, then the characters would have degenerated in something akin to Hellsing (watch the Sakkyun Light clip and see what I mean). I'm exagerating a bit, I admit; the point is that it wouldn't have been a series enjoyed by everyone, regardless of age
