Oh no. I didn't know les paul has died. This is just as bad as Jacksons death for me. At least Les had a long and fulfilling life. I am sure he was happy with what he manage to accomplish. Truly a master musician and inventor. In fact, he was just plain smart.

Les Paul was the one who invented the Les Paul shape guitar. And he was also ONE OF THE men that invented the electric guitar itself.

As for his musical accomplishments, there are more than I can fit in this comment, you should just read on wikipedia.

Also if you are interested in hearing him, search on youtube for "chet atkins les paul" There you see les paul and chet atkins playing "the birth of blues". It's so nice!
