I LOVE the Observatory! It's been my favorite for years (all the versions. The season 1 Observatories were the easiest rooms in the whole Temple. Even easier than the Heart Room!), and I'm still a little ticked that it was replaced by the King's Storeroom in season 3.

@mrbenio I too had a favorite room,not from season 1 but from seasons 2 and 3 and that was the Jester's Court.

It was a little scarier in season 2 because of the background laugh. In season 3, it was a little more lame. In my WiiWare remake of this, since there were no hiding spots for the Temple Guards, the florescent paintings will sometimes come to life (just 2D pictures floating toward the runner, but it sounds scary, right?).
