It's very good movie. My Father live in Budapest in 1956,and he say the streets and the spirit of the film is very simular, like at the time. But this is just a movie of course, the reality was more brutally, more hardest and more bravest. Thank you the good comments, many for our polish brothers.Somebody envious for our brotherhood, and try to say bad things for us. But this friendship, between Poland and Hungary is much more deep, then they imagine.

1. @Woloh Szálasi and not Szalaci was a fasist who was brought to power by the German troops that occupied Hungary in 1944, because Hungary refused to send the Jews to Auschwitz. Hungary was the only European country that refused to send the Jews in camps. Germans occupied the country and put a puppet, a strawman like Szálasi and sent many Jews to the camps. Thanks to the fact that until 1944 Hungary protected its Jews and Roma, today there in Hungary live are most Jews and Roma in Europe.
2. @Woloh Nowhere in Europe can you find so many Jews than in Hungary. During the German occupatioan (1944-1945), thousands of Hungarians risked their lives to save Jews and Roma. This also contributed to the survival of Jews and Roma. So Hungary was an occupied country by Germans, like Belarus was. And from Belarus too many Jews were sent to camps in Germany and Poland.

No, it isnt... It's revolution after Jalta and Poczdam where USA sold Hungarians, Polish and others. USA wasnt first country in war to freedom. It was set by Polish strikes in Poznań in the same year. It's all in that movie, if You dont believe me.

And one politician called them back named Janos Kadar who was the governor (commonust leader) of the country for 32 years! Do you think this country wanted this man? They wanted a free country!

And then make a move about Polish death camps in Ukraine and Belarus in 1930s, and Polish xenophobia.
