I've never heard anyone sing like Frank did. His vibrato was perfect and he knew when to use it, he could hold and end a note like nobody has ever done, he could sing in front or behind the music and make it sound amazing. His breath is perfect, you can't tell when he takes a breath! This is something is he pioneered and has never been matched with. He learned this by studying trumpet players in the Dorsey band. When he sung, you felt he meant it.
