to me, love is not just happy. love has its prices. like the saying "you must lose to gain." in order to be happy you must also feel pain. Love is a beautiful thing. You feel so different when you do feel it. You dont hide anything from your friends or hide the way you feel when your in public. You would do anything to keep that feeling. Its like being addicted to drugs, you cant get enough of it.. the things that prevent it is the person you love changes or you change.

I would even sneak through a window every night at 12 am and stay up all night to hold her as she slept until she got up about 6 in the morning. She wanted to lose IT to me. but i said," i love you to much to do that to you." she was really into church and i didnt want to be the reason she broke a commandment. most guys would have done it and bragged. but i didnt. i truely loved her

To me, love is something that everyone feels. It doesn't 'hurt', like people may think. Its really the only emotion that can stop the hurt one may feel inside. When someone expresses that they love you, they should mean it, by sending it from their heart. Not something given out of pity or something they might call "love".
And that, my friend, is my definition of love.

Love is simply the knowledge that you are one with others. We're all connected. We are one. That's love, pretty much. Everything else in that category is a specialization of that.

So many people nowadays claim that they truly love someone, but then a week later they're with another person and they don't look back. It doesn't work like that.
