  • Any new way on unlocking a moto droid??please

  • @cmarleneosuna

Depends on what you need, this should work for the motorola droid if you want the user/security lock code, but if you need to get past the initial android lock then that's a different story...

  • It worked perfectly!!! Thank you so much!!

  • @princesskellijo

No problem, glad it worked for you :)

  • I can't get this video to play longer than 6 seconds. I have a motorola Razr2 I cant even get passed the initial "enter lock code" screen

  • @princesskellijo

Yea, Ive noticed that too, I think it has something to do with youtube's HD upgrade. If you play the video in HD it plays just fine. If you don't want to play if in HD then you can download the file in the description and inside is a readme that includes all the steps in the video.

  • @zero16lives just open it up to a full screen and make it smaller again.

  • @nismocuaad

i dont see why not, but the only way to know is to try :)

  • Hi

there pal this is for phone user lock not the sim lock ??

can this work on sony ericsson phone !

will i need aver software ?

  • @DIAMONDDJ100

This is for user/security lock, and can be used for subsidy unlock (not shown in the video) This software only works on Motorola phones, sorry. There is most likely some software out the somewhere that will work with your phone, but I wouldn't know because I have never owned a Sony Ericsson phone. Good Luck though :)

  • will this unlock my motorola l7i?

  • @phlyod

It should, the only way to know for sure is to try :)

  • Worked perfectly. Had to move to slow and safe in the options on p2kcommander in order for it to work on the motorokr, but it did it! THANKS

  • @magillkirk

  • No problem, glad to help!

  • Hello I have a problem. I was doing as you say and then got to the P2k Commonader part I got to the seem old dialog part and typed the codes but it doesnt save nothing it doesnt even pop up the where to save message.

  • Your sure you put in the correct com port that you got from device manager? If you are sure then try to browse your phones filesystem in P2Kcommander.

  • Yes I am at first it gave me a com7 then I tried on a different computer and it gave me a com4. How would I search for my phone on the p2kcommander? Thank you so mch much for your help.

  • Ok you should double check your settings and then in p2kcommander, near the top-left corner there is a drop down box. click it and change it to "/a P2K phone system" the click the button next to it called "Re-read" Then post what it does here (if anything) If its working correctly the left side should change after a few seconds. Also try changing the "Mode" in options try all 4. What model phone do you have?

  • Thanks I'll try it. I have a Motorola L7c. I've done it with a Motorola Rokr though and it worked. But for some reason it doesn't on this one.

  • I also have a Motorola ROKR Z6M, my sister had a SLVR L7C I believe I was able to get it to work but I don't remember the settings I used. She doesn't have it anymore so I can't try it, hope it works. If you have any questions feel free to ask. :)

  • @zero16lives hey how did you unlock the forgotten unlock code for a rokr? im having a problem trying to figure out my code ...if you can help me thatd be great!

  • the link doesn't work

  • Use the MegaUpload link instead, for some reason the other one is down.

  • When exactly does it say this? and are you running Windows Vista?

  • Comment removed

  • Ok, when you open P2Kcommander, instead of double-clicking it, right-click and select "Run as Administrator." This will hopefully fix it.

  • Ok, I've looked around and didn't really find anything. What phone are you using? Did you try a different version of P2Kcommander?

  • Comment removed

  • did you download the one from the site or the one from megaupload? What version? Can you browse the files on the phone?

  • Nevermind.. I just used Unimoto and figured it out.. Thanks for trying to help!

  • i use that and it dont work and its in a diff language on some parts of it

  • I finally got it to show under modem in device manager (I uninstalled everything and started new) but when I open P2K it disappears from modem (I dont know if its suppose to do that) I did everything as you said and after I put in the seed it says CMD: Answer Packet Invalid (I am using Seem 2786 and Rec 0001

  • Ok, I finally got it to show up under modem (I uninstalled everything and started new) but when I start p2k it is no longer under modem. Also, when I type in Seem 2786 and Rec 0001 it is saying CMD: Answer Pack Invalid (I followed all other steps)

  • When I go to USB settings on my phone the options are.. Data Connection, Memory Card and USB Printing

  • btw.. I closed everything and plugged in the phone, it installed drivers and my phone says. USB:Mass Storage but it isnt under modem still

  • Ok i think I know the problem. Try unplugging the phone. Go to menu, settings, connection, USB settings, and set the default to Modem/COM. Then try again. Hopefully it will work.

  • I have been at this all day.. I have p2k, msu, pst and everything.. if I do it by running msu and using p2k when I hit the save file after putting in the hex codes it says invalid something... in device manager I have motorola usb device? but nothing under modem.. when I ran msu it said installing drivers but not just by installing the usb driver and plugging the phone in

  • After I install the drivers it doesnt show up under modem.. please help!! (and yes my phone is connected)

  • Did a box come up saying that it was installing drivers?

  • Yeah that still didnt work

  • Your phone is a motorola right? Is it cdma or gsm?

  • I have a Motorola V3a and its CDMA and i did check the box ont the options box where it says regular and has V3 and thata still didnt work

  • You followed the video right? You can try a different version. I remember some versions wouldn't work for me. Link in the sidebar to get another version.

  • alright so what do i look for

  • Its in the video. Follow the video and when it gets to 2:38 put 2786 instead of 2784. Save the file and open it up with notepad. You should see a six digit number. This is the security lock code. To change the code go to your phone and go to menu, then settings, then security, then new passwords, then security code, enter the old security code then the new one and your done.

  • hey man i tried changing the security code by using that seem but it keeps telling me DATA WRITE FAIL

  • I would recommend just reading the code from the seem and changing the code from the phone.

  • Its Tear Away-Drowning Pool
