  • I HAVE A LOT OF SYMPOTHY FOR THIS MAN, HE WAS WRONGED BY SOCIETY BY NOT GETTING THE PROPER MENTAL TREATMENT...I BELIEVE HE WAS HAVIN GA REALLY BAD WEEK, AND HE JUST SNAPPED.

  • This is so bizarre. Something about it is off to me, why kill two women with the same name? But I agree, it must have to do with the second woman. But I'm leaning towards the co-worker, her husband seems a little odd, but for some reason I don't think he did it.

  • Everyone...

should have an attorney when they talk to

the police during a "murder" investigation.

    See why.

    You Tube

Don't Talk To Cops, part 1

  • @frickadele

lol that was the first video I thought of when I heard that cop say "Witnesses don't need attorneys" - I would have one! The video teaches you to keep your mouth SHUT when cops interview you, do not say one word.

  • @ElleCM2 absolutely...there are a few innocent people on death row

  • AND I BELIEVE THE TRUE MURDERER WANTED US THE PEOPLE TO BELIEVE IT WAS HIT JOB...THE CRIME WAS TOO ORGANIZED...

  • I DELT THE MURDERER WOULD HANG AROUND TO ANSWER THE CALL, AND WAIT THERE 4 MINUTES .... I DONT BELIVE THAT... I BELIEVE MIKE MORRIS...

  • the only thing that troubles about the husband/hitman theory is why would u pay to have ur wife beaten and possibly raped before she died? it looks like a random murder by some sicko... except for the 2nd woman of course. thats some terminator shit

  • @alrussell1985 so that it looks like some stranger did it.

  • @PeaceLoveAndSKs im not saying thats not possible but jesus, i understand, to an extent, to kill over money r jealousy but to have to have ur wife beaten and possibly raped, he should be strung up the balls if he did

  • @alrussell1985 There are sociopaths all around us. Most seem very normal and rather charming. Many are executives or people you let in your house to do repairs etc. There seems to be a rash of men killing their wives in one way or another the last few years . I am sure you already know this. But nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to this sort of thing. They would do anything to keep from getting caught. I am amazed the cops have not pursued this further.

  • @PeaceLoveAndSKs im not so amazed, have u watched other episodes of um? there seems to be alot of corrupt and/or idiot cops out there

  • @alrussell1985 Well you do have a point there. You can't trust media, true crime writers half the time not the cops. The only way anyone ever will know the whole truth is if they are there themselves.

  • seems related. obviously a professional killer in both cases

  • @flowerdrop1

A professional wouldn't have gotten the wrong woman the first time out.

  • Let me add something that points to a contract killing. The friend who Mary called before her death did not say WHO this creepy person was who was following her. This means Mary must have not known either. And if the co-worker were responsible, Mary would have said "yeah that co-worker is following me around."

  • You know what a even stranger coincidence would be? If the two murders are not linked, BUT both Marry Morris' were killed by their husbands at about the same time.

I think the husband in the second case is definitely suspicious, but I would be curious to know more about the Robin Williams co-worker and what "evidence" the Police have against him.

  • I agree with the botched hit theory. The husband hired a hitman and gave a picture and name and the hitman accidentally got the wrong Mary first because she looked so similar. The hitman took her ring as proof but the husband said that wasn't it so then 3 days later he got the right one and the 4 minute call was probably the hitman and husband confirming the hit. Then again I don't know what to make of that creepy co-worker... maybe he had something to do with it as well?

  • I think the cops are just too lazy to connect the dots. C'mon! It's so obvious that these two crimes are related to one another.

  • He was just following the advice of a "good friend" (Mike Morris). Yeah right! That's the oldest excuse in the book.

  • Maybe it wasn't a mistaken hit. Maybe they were both meant to die. Maybe one Mary was the secret sister of the other. Someone found out that someone had slept with someone decades ago, a child was given up for adoption, but now the truth was found out, and someone couldn't live with it. That's the way Shakespear would explain it, at least.

  • also, i dont think you could really use that phone evidence....it's too much speculation

  • i dont think that's unusual to take an attorney, especially him being the husband. sometimes the police suspect the spouse automatically so i could see that. also, i could see him keeping his daughter out of it, especially her being so young

  • I feel awful for both the Marys, especially Mary McGinnis Morris, she had a stalker at work wanting to harm her and also her husband who resented her and wanted her dead for her life insurance money. How can a guy do that to his kids by killing or having someone kill their mother?...it's absolutely ludacrious to kill 2 innocent woman for little or no reason.

  • Strange wording on Mike's part..."the arrangement of Mary's murder"....um hello!!!! Who ever said it was arranged/premeditated???

  • @xxmissglamourousxx yeah but if it was the husband he could just tell the hitman ok she lives on 501 main st houston. if it was the co worker maybe he didnt know where she lived and said her name is mary morris look her up and follow her as she comes to work? idk tho... then why would they need her wedding ring but maybe the guy just wanted it if he was obsessed with her/ very weird case

  • @xxmissglamourousxx

I just picked up on that. Buy I think the real pie-in-the-face should go to the poilce for assuming that this is nothing more than coincidence.

  • As the police officer states, this was a completed call.... not 4 minutes of a busy signal with no pickup. Someone (who was not Mary Morris, as she had previously called 911 in an unreleased recording that apparently is quite disturbing) other than his wife answered that phone and spoke to Mike Morris for 4 full minutes. What, were they discussing the weather ? This individual has never been identified and Mike Morris is an astoundingly poor liar.

  • i have called my wife's phone and it has rang for mins b4 she answered.

She's hard of hearin so i wait sometimes. honestly i see nothing wrong with that 4 min phone call.

and to tell u the complete truth if my wife, or family member died like this and the police wanted to talk to me, everyone knows that husbands r always 1st suspect, and i would bring a lawyer with me. looks guilty but at the sametime it's smart if ur innocent since thousands of people r in jail that r innocent

  • @CROSSXX13 What's missing is if she didn't PICK UP THE PHONE it would keep ringing. It wouldn't show that someone picked up the phone.

  • @Aditi000 the guy said the telephone company indicated it was a completed call.. which meant someone picked up.. they talked and both parties hung up.. an incomplete call would indicate the phone wasnt answered

  • @CROSSXX13 true.. phones can ring forever if they dont have answering service.. but you dont get charged by the phone company if it just rings.. the issue they are having is.. the phone rang.. it was a COMPLETED call.. which meant someone picked up.. if her cell just rang for four minutes.. nothing would have shown up on her bill..

  • Do You have Bill Beattys Haunted Mansion

  • 考えを進める

  • "I had nothing to do with the arrangement of Mary's murder." <~WTF?? He's so insanely guilty, he totally hired some moron to do to it, they got the wrong "Mary" the first try, then he talked to the person for 4 minutes after they did kill his wife to make sure they got the right "Mary" that time. What a piece of crap! DOUCHE!

  • @matthewsolis247 Yeah, I totally agree. It doesn't matter though, God will punish him for his sins. God is the ultimate judge.

  • I agree that the husband did it. Too many things going on there not being adequately explained by him. And the cops are dumb if they really think the two murders are coincidences.

  • #1 you DO NOT have to talk to the police!!! If they don't have enough evidence to arrest you they're on their own!!! Don't talk to them!!!! No way, no how!!!

  • I think the butler did it...

  • Oh God, I just had a horrible realization... if the two murders are connected and they are the work of one contract killer, and if it was the second Mary's husband who paid to have it done... what if the killer said something like, "This is from your husband" right before he killed the 1st Mary?! The last thing that poor lady would be thinking would be, "That bastard!!" when in fact, he probably loved her very much. That's a chilling thought.

  • Uh, I think she would be more worried about dying then who did it.

  • This story was featured on forensic Files and forensics the police used help catch the guy who did it.

  • who did it? was it the husband?

  • I don't trust him, watching the first segment, I kept thinking "Something is wrong with Mike, I can't put my finger on it"

Didn't know until part 2 he was a suspect.

I think he is involved, maybe hired a hitman and the hitman got the wrong Mary Morris, went back and finished the job

  • Mike Morris is guilty. No one lets a cell phone ring for 4 minutes. Why would he do that?

He hired a hitman. $700,000 is a lot of money for a woman you do not love anymore. And if you want your name cleared you take a polygraph and cooperate. Mike Morris spoke to his wife's killer. A quick 4 minute conversation is enough for that.

    "You killed her?"

    "Yep"

    "You're sure this time?"

    "Yes"

"Okay look, this is my alibi, here is what we do.............."

    Guilty: Mike Morris

  • true that everyone should have a attorney present police are very slick but if it was my daughter hell yeah i'd went no matter what. good luck to the kids

  • it was the husband, the hit of the first was mistake the second one the husband was so dumb that he called to see if the killer did the job right this time... and he was from out town look in the phone bill of the husband morris family and its there for sure

  • The husband must be guilty, because we all known that cell phone companies NEVER make mistakes on cell phone bills.

  • Comment removed

  • I don't know how convincing he is...I think he knows more than what he is telling for sure!!!

  • Wow... I was really hoping for an update on this one.

  • He doesn't look or sound guilty-- but the evidence seems to suggest her husband killed her. Hit job. It's pretty obvious.

  • sociopaths dont sound guilty, cos they have no emotion.

  • he was probabally on anxiety meds because he thought she was cheeting on him, and he because he was planning her murder. I think the husband hired a hitman to collect the life insurance.

  • yeah i know why wouldnt he take the test, he is guilty as sin...

  • yea, the hitman he hired to kill his wife tracked the wrong mary morris first and killed her, her husband is sitting free with the life insurance money living it up, what a fucking scumbag

  • holy shit, he called his wife's number after she died and was on it for 4 minutes, what if he was talking to the killer, very very very very chilling, this has to be one of the most chilling UM cases I have seen due to that suspicious 4 minute phone call on her phone record, chilling chillin chilling

  • morris killed her, he's a lying bastard, just another murdering bastard
