A flaw with using that cardboard material, no matter how dense it originally came from a tree and it'll will burn. After shooting, the fumes and embers will be absorbed into the thin fibers of the cardboard and will continue to burn and smell like smoke even after days.

The launcher itself is very durable and can be used like a baton while out on halloween night if you ever get jumped or someone tries to tax your firecrackers just wip out ur launcher, fire bottle rockets at them then get ready to bash'em. If the police ask, its just a pvc pipe not anything illegal

I made one of these, but I used a PVC pipe 1,1/2'' by 3,1/2' long. I plugged the back with tin foill that i highly compressed with a 3/4'' hole directly in the center, so that the exhaust smoke can exit from the rear (so it doesn't smoke up like that) of the launcher while the projectile exits from the front.

U just gave me an idea, so far i have this barrel of this gun that i used for scrap parts to launch my bottle rockets, i even have a storage area, i put them in the back, i insert the rockets into the barrel, and i light them and shoot em off its kick ass but yours is much better

Hell,I just take a piece of PVC pipe,cut it to be about 4 foot look,put a hole on the side for proper ventilation so the fuse would stay lit and put an easy sight and there you go,an RPG meant for a two-man team,because they are unpredictable for their course,sights are usually for show.

they have oxidizers(potassium nitrate usually) in them which when burned supplies the fuel with oxygen

Oh because a few I used went out right before launch and I thought it was the lack of oxygen since what does fire need to burn,oxygen, and it gives off C02,among other gases, which can literally 'choke' the flame and suffocate it. But the ventilation is barely noticable and I have not had a problem since.

Like I said previously, fuses have OXIdizers in them(note the OXI prefix... meaning oxigen) So it's not gonna get smothered.. you can burn fuse in an environment with no air at all.. you just have to find a way to light it

wow i have a better idea to make one, same concept as yours, but first try using PVC as a main 'pipe' then a wider pc to cover the 'hole' where you put the rocket in. so bascically, it would work the same as your 'flap' but would be more secure and easier to use. just a suggestion.

Looks like it suffers from the same fault that the RPG7 does... it bounces around inside the tube and doesnt always go where you want.

When I was your age I'd just take a wiffle bat and stick the rocket in the hole at the end, and take a laser pointer and attach it with a rubber band to the side of the bat.

I kinda feel like doing this again, lol.
