I want to become a pilot insted of a dentist. I am 15 and I want to fly people on vacation for example. I have always wanted to fly, and I hear the pays good too =]. can anyone fill me in?

it does pay good, but not until you log a certain amount of hours in. until then you do not get payed very much, if you are looking to be an airline pilot

@MrDuper101 i have the same interest as you and im about to enter college, my cousin is a pilot and he flew for united for 25 years, the pay is exceptionally good, but the hard part is getting hired, many commercial pilot openings are filled very quickly and the competition is fierce, thats why i think ill pursue dentistry

u can begin after 16+ and after 18+ u can start on small planes.

you can start flying at any age...

however you must be 16 with a medical and an endorsement to solo. 17 to get your PPL. I'm 14... i'm flying.

Did they over complicate the instructions to pilot a plane when u learnt?

I'm certain I could fly one, but its having to know stupid little things in order to qualify that ticks me off!
