Doc, I was diagnosed with Kc on both eyes when I was16, I am now 24 and at this point the E looks like 3 blurry lines. The contacts don't really seem to cut it anymore and this has taken a toll on me. I need to pick up my next pair which cost $215 but I'm tired of wasting my money on something that doesn't help. omg i wana see this doc.. i have Keratoconus in my both eyes. and i hate it i hate my hard lenses they are not comfy, and if i loss one it cost me 150 to replace it.. :( i wish i can see normal with both eyes, my eyes are always red, am not allowed to drive at night, unless if i have to plz doctor email me

Hey Doc, I'm a Professional firefighter in PA with a similar problem to this gentleman. I went for a LASIK consultation and found that I have KC. What is my best course of action to getting my vision corrected? Is there a local practioner in PA that you deal with that could help me all the pretreatment stuff leading up to INTACS and C3-R? What kind of things could I need to do before flying out to LA for consultation and possible surgery??

I have Keratoconus in both eyes but more advance in the left eye! i live in Rockland county NY. I wear glasses now for everyday ok vision, but after 1 year with the glasses, lens are wearing off so i'm guessin my condition is getting worst. Now with C3-R is it ok to wait till my vision worsen or do it as early as possible. i'm affraid!

if diagnosed with Keratoconus, will many fire departments be likely to deny you?
