  • Spencer is great in his own way if you would just accept that he's not Aaron Gillespie, because he's not, dammit! > o <

  • Such a good vocalist... and wow the new drummer kicks the old drummers ass

  • Does a team change their name because the old starters are replaced with new recruits? No. Under-Oath is much bigger than the original members. It's a movement with humans just acting as a third party expressing the Power.

  • Illumitaor have two "l" !

  • They should have a Reunion tour and with all the other bands that the old Underoath members are apart of. UO, The Almost, and Maylene tour maybe?! :D

  • Spencer shouldn't sing.

    He's just not Aaron.

  • @xbipolarbearsx HAHAAH

  • @xbipolarbearsx i like aaron i thought he was still in this album...but it was all spencer's vocals...and i am amazed by his voice...he can do it all alone..he's that great.

  • UnderOath might as well change their name or somethin, they have no original members.

  • I miss Aaron's awesome vocals :/

  • The only thing this band is missing now is Aaron Gillespie =[

  • they should change their name. this isn't UnderoA\ath anymore.

  • @mexmetal15 I agree -.-

  • The first 3 albums will always be the original Underoath

  • For all you pussies, this album is their best album, way better quality and well produced!

  • I love this song! I love Underoath so much! <3

  • WTF happened to this band ?!? what the hell is this crap ? This stuff is GARBAGE compared to their old shit.

  • Go Underoath! i never really liked these guys but it's great they're trying to expose the illuminati.

  • @guitarspring Hahahahahahahaha

  • Like some people already said I'm missing the clean vox like they were on they were only chasing safety. So I'm dissappointed, thank god I found out about "The Amity Affliction"

  • theyve tuned their guitars down and went for a seamless-type sound...idk i prefer tighter

  • I wish all the internet nerds hadn't sucked the meaning from the word "epic" so I could find something to describe this song.

    FUCKING EPIC

  • Eh.... Aaron is a better drummer to me..... The good thing about Norma Jean was it was a bunch of Alt kids that wanted to play more "hardcore" music (yes I know there was no such thing back them), so it ended up being chaotic and great.... UO is chaotic but they have more of a artistic aspect to their music which aaron added to. I do like this sound though.....

  • im probly gunna do a cover of this song.

    my favourite underoath song =]

  • underoath-pussy vocals+ex norma jean drummer=win. i really respect how much these guys have progressed and changed as musicians.

  • underoath still have there great own Eunice sound love it

  • GOD THE NEW COMMENT LAYOUT SUCKS

  • hot <3

  • they are not the same anymore, still amazingly talented, but not the same :'(

  • @bernie6127 Cry me a river

  • @bernie6127

They won't ever be the same.

Listen to their first album and you'll know the old UnderOath.

That was the UnderOath that's "real".

But I still love the band anyways(:

  • @bernie6127

    Thanks captain obvious

  • get rid of the download link -.-

people need to support this song.

    SUPPORT UNDERØATH!

  • Comment removed

  • Truthfully, I actually like Underoath better without Aaron, I guess I just didn't like his singing parts, kinda ruined Underoath for me while he was in, but they are an amazing band!

  • they were better with dallas for vox. didnt really like spencer til theit second album with him.

  • fav album was "they're only chasing safety"....seems like it might have some competition. love UO

  • Not as good as "theyre only chasing safety" days, because Aaron is gone. but overall not bad i think i will get a torrent of this album.

  • I miss the old underoath =/ Define The Great Line was their best record ever. After Lost In The Sound Of Separation, I stopped listening.

  • @PeteyPoison lost in the sound of separation was their masterpiece. trust me i hated it at first but it's really good, give it more listens

  • Downloading this at the link is totally unsupportive

  • Where's Aaron?

  • Amazing Just Amazing, This band is one of the best in this genre.

  • I miss Aaron D:

It sounds alright but i hate the fact that it's too heavy D:

  • @mikejaxer

So did Aaron. Everyone says he left for this and that reason, but he flat out stated that he enjoyed playing more melodic music, rather than thrash metal.

  • @FwdAirBP24 i myself being an avid metal listener and long time underoath fan, i find it offensive that you compare underoath to thrash metal because they have never nor will ever be thrash metal, they're more of a mix of metalcore and hard rock

  • @BlackMetalSwede I get what he's saying though. I don't think he's referring to original thrash like Slayer, but more new school. I wouldn't put them under metalcore, but then again, genres are so general now.

  • For the guys saying they sound completely different now because Aaron left. Understand that this album was written while Aaron was still in the band. Spencer just took over all the vocals. So if Aaron was still in the band you would be hearing the same album.

  • Every time I met aaron he never looked happy. So its only natural that he left a band to focus on his family, ministry endeavors and the almost.

  • I saw the almost live, I can't blame aaron for pursuing that. Plus I got a pic with Aaron too ;)

  • @theMainstreamkiller i did also... they're pretty awesome.. and aarons really nice

  • norma jean? norma jean grew a twin? whats with underoath lately, sheesh

  • @butchology maybe because they have the old norma jean drummer is why this song sounds similar. and not all the songs sound like this

  • I'm starting to have a feeling that Aaron leaving the band is the end of Underoath as we knew it. I still love the band but they're completely different now, almost like just another screamo band.

  • @Oneill240Si All that's really missing is clean vocals, if they get someone to do that well enough, they'll be just as good, if not better than before.

Daniel Davidson>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Aaron in terms of drumming.

  • old drummer for norma jean in underoath, pureeeeee win.

  • @kelsfknpeach woah hold on a sec the drummer is from norma jean?

  • @vagetainfinity He used to be in Norma Jean

  • @kelsfknpeach i didnt even know thats who that was duude:D:D:D

  • @habeeb1256 That's definitely false.

  • @habeeb1256 thats a fuckin lie!

  • @habeeb1256 No he didn't

  • I am definitely liking this new sound for UO.

  • When this song was first released, I loved it and I thought it was their best song since DTGL. Now that I've heard the rest of the record, this song doesn't even seem that special... that's how amazing this album is

  • They sound like norma jean because the drummer used to be in norma jean.

  • Norma Jean influence?

  • @DiabloSVV12 i agree... im kind of disappointed a little, im not the biggest fan of norma jean...

  • sounds like norma jean

  • aaron was an original, like a real original, he was in underoath since 1999, when they were deathcore practically, i miss those days, look up a love so pure, amazing song by them like 12 years ago!!!

  • I'm soooo hipsterrrrrrr

  • why dose everybody miss aaron man he wasn't the only good person on that band the old underoath was the best but i still love them

  • They sound GREAT. Love it, still, I'll miss Aaron

  • Dude, so, so, so, so awesome

  • its quite unusual not to here aaron's clean vocal anymore...and his the only original member remain on the band since it has been founded and now his gone.Well good luck to him.

  • 9 Nov (yn) :D___

  • Anybody else thinks they went overboard with the hardcoreness?

  • @dylnels0597 I'm not one to use profanity, but, FUCK NO. I love the hardcoreness on this album. It's a big change in sound that sets this album apart from the others. Plus, the heavier the harder I head bang. ;D

  • sounds different.. fucking awesome though

  • Naww, it needs the balance of harsh and clean vocals :/ I'm intrigued to know what they sound like live when doing older songs! - Glad I got to see them just weeks before Aaron left!

  • @fadence Spence and Tim split the duties on Aaron's parts... it sounds alright.

  • you know it used to be that i would listen to aaron`s amazing drums and then hear how spencer would fallow that and just hear the extension of his vocals and how they make the whole band stand out that much more than all the rest but with this song literally every instrument is heard and im listening to everything of the song and what it`s supposed to sound like rather than just individual parts so i`d say a change in the songs and congrats

  • I hope Aaron and Jaime have a beautiful life together. and if starting a family was in Aarons plan for leaving Underoath, all the power to him. Its a beautiful thing.

  • I love it! Ok were all gonna miss Aaron but Aaron would want us to love it.

  • I think it kind of stinks without aaron

  • @xProdigyxBEasT listen to In Division and listen to spencers vocals though they are great!

  • Think like everybody , I miss Aaron ... But cool Song !!

  • I expected this, once Aaron left, their sound would get a lot heavier...

  • @MaruTheGreat i knew it too. and as much as I loved what Aaron brought to the band, when I first heard LITSOS, I knew he would be leaving soon. They were heading in such a dark direction with that album, I just couldn't imagine him being a part of it.

  • ...legit, fucking aaroon we loved you but hell yes

  • at first i didnt like this at all but now it`s starting to sink in

  • @drummerliger678 same here i like it more and more each time

  • i want Aaron back!!!

  • i want Aaron back!!!

  • Imagine how good Norma Jean would be if Daniel Davison was still their drummer...

But I'm liking how he's spreading his NJ influence.

  • Norma Jean was better with Josh Scogin and Daniel Davison, and Underoath was better with Aaron Gillespie and Dallas Taylor.

  • @MissDavidStone Now that is a very true statement.

  • @MissDavidStone

Ewwwww Dallas Taylor was terrible in Underoath, in my opinion only of course pretty good in Maylene though. I'm digging this. And The Chariot owns all mentioned bands.

  • @xLordOfTheFliesx false. The Chariot does not own this band. or TDWP because they're sick too. Taylor was brilliant in their first couple albums

  • @JaysEatingWorld

I personally dont care for TDWP, but go for it, man. Its all personal tastes. I just hate the way Dallas screamed back then. Ugh. And I really enjoy all the Spencer UO albums, this one Im anticipating liking. Juts trying to give some props. Peace.

  • this album would be heir best album if it had aarons vocals in it

  • @Danz2003 he does guest vocals. if you check out the thing they posted on amazon today, you can preview all their new songs. aaron sings in number 5. (driftwood)

  • @skilletOATH are you sure thats aaron?

  • @Danz2003 like.. 70%.

cause, he said he was doing "guest vocals" on the new album. and that sounded like him.

  • your lyrics are horribly wrong

  • Ugh...Daniel should still be in Norma Jean, they were always a million times better than Underoath, and ever since he left they haven't been the same band. Now Underoath is taking on a Norma Jean-ish sound...it doesn't sound at all like older Underoath. Daniel should have gone back to Norma Jean to revive a band that was once my favorite thing to listen to...

  • @alchiblesshit yeah, old drummer for norma jean, damn good stuff! haha

  • is daniel davison a former drumer of norma jean??

  • Ya! Daniel Davison on drums! Dude, that guy used to rule Norma Jean.

  • grandioso

  • I can still hear some of the Underoath vibe from Define the Great Line but nothing like the Changing of Time which was my favorite. Aaron kinda made Underoath for me but ill still be going to see them on tour!!

  • 11-9-10 <3 CANT WAIT!! XD

  • I was iffy about Aaron leaving a big shoe to fill.. if anything the groove and melody is gone.. but the metal has begun..I accept UO version 12.3 lol ..the metal world will now suffer the wrath of this rebirth..oh yea I'm excited!

  • @streettech714 this has a pretty similar sound to lost in the sound of separation, the groove definitely hasn't gone

  • This song is too amazing!

  • I'm always missing the old stuff, But this is pretty good too. (:

  • i liked it when it was more melodic.it sort of sounds like everyone else. but i hear peaks of underoath popping out here and there.

  • underoath will never be the same

  • underOATH is always been my favorite band,i miss Aaroon being part of the lineup, but they sound great <3.

  • Dude, so amazing!

    New drummer=Metal UnderOath.

    I miss Aaron though.

Last original member, not evern the Oath anymore.

    But greeat new sound.

  • @BrandonIsSpeed criss is one of the founders members and he still in the band........

  • @shinobazu080 no he isn't. he was one of the earliest members but he wasn't in the band when they started uo

  • did aaron want to leave or did he get kicked out?

    if so why

  • @jUStiNdoW Aaron left to play full time for his project band The Almost. I heard he also left because he wanted to start a family. He married his wife Anne Robertson November 25th 2006. He was playing drums for Underoath since he was 14.

  • @JaysEatingWorld

although it feels like the Almsot are going downhill after Southern Weather, I didn't like Monster Monster as much as the first one. Sounded too country/folk

  • his wife is named jamie gillespie i meet himmm

  • Comment removed

  • @jUStiNdoW yeah it was a mutual thing because the band also decided that it was the way forward for them because aaron isnt a metal and there were things he wouldnt have done that are on the new album

  • @jUStiNdoW He left to do ministry and be more dedicated to his new band The Almost.

  • @jUStiNdoW Aaron wanted to leave... he is pursuing his career in his other band -The Almost

  • @jUStiNdoW HE LEFT FOR HIS OTHER BAND: THE ALMOST :(

  • he's been around playing at churches and youth groups with his new band. and for that I am sure he has opened his eyes

disambiguation means to illuminate the illuminati Satanic New World Order all their new merch (shirts) have illuminati symbols checkerboard gateway all seeing eye pyramid research illuminati symbols and educate yourself Impending Doom is doing this now too. look out I was always a HUUUUUUUUUUUUge underoath fan. too bad don"t illuminate-educate!

  • @jUStiNdoWi met a guy who said Aaron left because spencer was on cocaine still. i asked him how he knew this. he said he was friends with aaron. i thought he was full of it. then i saw him back stage chilling with aaron gillespie. so....

  • Download link in description

  • @JaysEatingWorld can i get a download of this song?

  • great song, ready for the cd, wish it was slightly more melodic like their older stuff, but ill get over it, great song anyways =D

  • sick song new vocals and everything sounds raw

  • such a sick song.
