I always got stuck at the guy at the 17:00 mark. I didn't know you could make him drunk, I just tried to fight him and he just knocked me out cold.

@katzenrubbl0r That's Biff. The poster got Biff drunk because he didn't hand him a STEIN of beer, he handed him a TROPHY full of beer. Notice that before this he walked into the nearby office, gave the boar to the dog, and grabbed a trophy off of the file cabinet. Then he went all the way down to the kitchen to fill it (At about 14:55). Then instead of just starting a fight, he handed Biff the trophy, THEN started the fight.

in grunwald castle, always when i try to get up the stairs, somebody yell HALT HALT, so a solder comes and beat my ass up...i dont know what to do...he dont fall into the uniform

@Blutroth You can talk your way past EVERY guard, as long as you have the right outfit on (Besides Biff, of course), or someimes the right item to give. The first two are Indy, then the first guy on the second floor is the servant uniform, after that it's the officer's uniform (this walkthrough shows you how he got each). Back in the day I tried EVERY conversation path and noted down each correct one - each guard's correct conversation stays the same from playthrough to playthrough.

yeah the castle sucks... i played "Fate of Atlantis" when i was a kid and i think its much better then Indy 3. You got too much different options to chose in this game...

This was the first adventure game of any kind I ever played - graphical or text. I was 9 years old (now 27). It hooked me for life - I became a slave to Lucasarts, Sierra, Broken Sword, etc. Curse you, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade!

The only LucasArts adventure game I never finished I think(except for Zak, but I never had it). Its so hard and tricky, and I get sick just by looking at those catacombs.

Well, I don't know. If you look the video at minute 22.37 you'll see he uses a pass.

Shouldn´t you be able to steal the pass in the castle? At least i always got it there though i don´t recall where exactly. In the sequence in Berlin you then just need to give the pass instead of the diary and it will be signed...and can then be used at the checkpoints.
