Called them again today 1-3-12 reset it back to factory and still the same problem. Im done ITS GOTTA GO! I wouldnt of kept it anyway because Im not paying $350 and the screen has lines in it. So back to HSN it goes before 1-31-12 to get my money back.

Finally I had to send it to Leader under my 1 year warranty paying $20 to send it through UPS which I felt was ridiculous because it was a brand new out the box and they should of payed for the shipping to and fro. I received another one 12-30-11 and guess what still no connection also it has lines down the side where the screen of the tablet should be centered it breaks up the picture or what ever you click on the front of the tablet.

I ordered the Impressions 10in. Tablet from HSN on 12-03-11 received it on 12-10-11. From the very beginning I had difficulties connecting to the internet. I have 2-Wire from AT&T and its one of the best internet connections. I called Leader International Inc. several times to fix the problem no luck even though it said I had a connection it would connect for a short period of time then drop.

Bought the Impression 10-80 for my 11 year old son and all he wants is angry birds. After tireless tries of trying to root using the superoneclick link above and others from android forums, I finally gave up and simply used the black market link above and placed it in the APK backup folder and voila! Black Market works and all the apps he wants are now on his tablet! No need to root! :) Thanks!

The program SuperOneClick appears to be locking up (Not Responding) I have re downloaded the program from you You Tube site a few time still not working. After clicking the root tab on SuperOneClick, it goes through the process and stops at "waiting for device" any suggestions?

On thing im not clear of is do i leave the mini SD card in the Impression Tablet during the Rooting Process? Thanks Alot. Jeff

p@jeffcloughsongs,pull down the window in the tablet and check the USB connection if you look you will see its disconnected. Now just reconnect at that step and it should push the rest of the exploit.If it unmounts your sdcard go into your settings and and in sdcard remount it.it should work.

Thanks for the video, AND the Dropbox link. The version of S1Clk at the link on here didn't work for me, I had to get it from main site. I had a hard time getting the ADB Composite Interface to work (until I worked with the file specified @ your DropBox link.) But when i go to Rom buddy and dowload a rom, I try to open it in the N64oid and it tells me the rom can not be opened. The roms appear to be in zip format.

then all you have to press on the superoneclick app you extracted before press root and done.

I just got my impressions and wanted to root it right away however it's not as easy as the video instructs. We're leaving our that "Leader inc" does provide drivers that's easily recognized by window 7 users. I have have download and install drivers. After installing the drivers can you actually root your impressions tablet the one click root will and does work to root your device.

I will not say anything negative about your video. It's the Tablet I have issue with. Got mine Thursday (9-1-11) and it's performance is "meh". The wifi is really weak, can't go more than a few feet from wireless router before signal drops. Touch screen performance is "meh" also. I have a eLocity A7 I rooted, and the touch screen and processor speed far surpasses this piece of "meh". I will admit screen brightness and text look really good on it though. Android market exclusion also hurts tablet

@visitor831 This Tablet has the old Samsung A8 Cortex Processor. It's the trade off for the $279 price you pay for this tablet. I am waiting on someone from XDA to re-write OS for pad so that you can get the Android Market Place, like they did for my elocity A7. I like your "gritty, cholo-hood" videos, but ya gotta get a new camera. or use your Android Phone (I have a HTC Sensation: excellent video, and you can upload to YouTube - check some of my videos out).

@mdmsteele.......right on the box it will have instructions to update the firmware...its a quick 11 step process...however, it doesn't say you need to re-format the SD card first......leader knows about the issue and I'm thinking on new orders shipping out they changed the instructions....I suggest just calling them first to find out the right way. But the tablet is friggin sweet!

I love mine bro. your right though, no android market sucks but I have a legit Amazon Account and there are plenty of free apps and the 1-click downloads once your account is set-up is nice....that said....what is this rooting you speak of?
