ACTUAL YUGO PRICE LIST - NEW PARTS (I have a YUGO, too): headlight - 4$; bumper - 8$; clutch - 40$; entire front plastic grill - 15$; hood - 25$; steel wheel - 5$; windshield - 30$; oil pressure sensor - 1.5$; air filter - 4$; brake disk - 9$; brake pad - 7$; brake caliper - 7$; homokinetical joint (FWD-only component) - 20$; engine mount - 5$... Also: Battery - the smallest money can buy is more than enough nowdays and many other stuff. WHAT car has such cheap parts?!

@omfg4000 the oldest YUGO ever made was made in 1980 - that's 31 years now... But I agree with you - YUGO is a nice little car. You get what you pay for - a cheap but easy to maintain vehicle that will serve you forever if you put not only the cheapest parts.

We need affordable small cars for the people in the United States again. My father spend over 20 thousand dollars for a new Honda, and the interior is entirely plastic while the exterior is thin metal, when you shut the door you hear this hollow ting noise - I am afraid to hit a fallen tree branch in the road

Yugo is a good small car. Yugo for some places is good and for some places is not good.

I would not buy a Yugo as a Family car.

Yugo is good for go to work, school, 1 or 2 people car.

Yugo is a perfect car for over popullated places, easy to park, easy to drive, etc etc.

Yugo may be a perfect car for New York example but a worthless for Texas.

Yugo is not good for travel like Texas to New York, but is a perfect car locally.

Also Yugo was cheap a perfect car for learners 1st car.

some of the reasons ,WAR since 1991 ,UN SANCTIONS , 1999 NATO bombers in several times distroyed almost factory completly.There were some more advanced and modern cars produced but they were not that popular because they were more expensive and new Yugo costs less then 4000 euros and parts for it cost less then one drink in town
