Real shame about the price on this thing. I understand it's huge, but I don't think it was $2500 huge! I was looking forward to this one, when everyone assumed it would be in the $500 range. Depressing that it costs so much. I'd expect it to be even larger, with working lights, for that price.
I just got my DX Macross Quarter today, fantastic toy! I really wish Yamato would make a DYRL Macross the size of the DX Quarter and sell it for around the same price. I'd pick it up in a heartbeat.
@RaddSpencer In size the 1/2000 would be about right in size to the Macross quarters from Bandai. The quarteers is not as big as the real Macross. It woiuld be nice if Bandai made one as you said, I think there is a 1/3000 Macross coming out in 2011 from what I heard but not really sure if its true or not.

I think I'll go for Macross Quarter (Bandai DX Chogokin). It cost about $250-300 US dollars.
