Basically, MM represents a style, a gothic and a bit dark one, and the singers blended their own personality and style into the music forming something totally new so that's why i can't compare these eras.
The word Baroque was initially used to imply strangeness, abnormality and extravagance, so it's not necesary related to Beethoven. The own Fur Elise title is wrong, which could me parodied in this title. And, finally, Beethoven was influeced by Bach and others, giving a little of the Baroque style to his pieces.

Mana sama, the guitarist, created the band and is a famous cross dressing model.

Whenever I heard Tetsu-era Malice Mizer songs, I thought to myself, he's got a good voice, but got involved the wrong genre [for his voice]. Personally I prefer him in Zigzo and nil, although this song is definitely one of my favorites from his MM days :) I still think it's kind of sad how he got overshadowed by Gackt and Klaha though...
He sounds like the Japanese version of Serj Tankian. WIth the way he throws the pitch of his voiceup an down like an instrument. Just throwing that out there XD.

Tetsu does sound very strained, sure, but it fits the frantic rhythm this song has, and contrasts well with the astounding bass and guitar solos and duets, especially the Fur Elise duet. I've loved this song since I first heard it, to be honest, even though I do love Gackt. Like, a lot.
However; Gackt, singing this song? It doesn't work. It sounds awful. And Klaha was just bad altogether, so eh.

Whenever I heard Tetsu-era Malice Mizer songs, I thought to myself, he's got a good voice, but got involved the wrong genre [for his voice]. Personally I prefer him in Zigzo and nil, although this song is definitely one of my favorites from his MM days :) I still think it's kind of sad how he got overshadowed by Gackt and Klaha though...

He sounds like the Japanese version of Serj Tankian. WIth the way he throws the pitch of his voiceup an down like an instrument. Just throwing that out there XD.

This really is one of Malice Mizer's best songs.
Tetsu does sound very strained, sure, but it fits the frantic rhythm this song has, and contrasts well with the astounding bass and guitar solos and duets, especially the Fur Elise duet. I've loved this song since I first heard it, to be honest, even though I do love Gackt. Like, a lot.
However; Gackt, singing this song? It doesn't work. It sounds awful. And Klaha was just bad altogether, so eh.

Did you ever heard the "Yardbirds", "Tool", "Dream Theatre" or "Can"? These are bands with very complex guitars. But this one is very cool.
