that is the scariest thing i have ever seen! I came close to drowning where you think to yourself just breath in while being held under water, and when you do come up you can hardly see and your lungs hurt..this was really chilling to watch, lifeguards really deserve a ton more credit than they are given, especially for putting their own lives in danger in surfing conditions like that.

I just got bak from the beach and a wave knocked me under and all I remember is trying to breath and choking on water and trying to get up but the current was too strong and then I opened my eyes and saw my friend trying to grab me and then I hit rocks... I wouldve drowned if my friend wouldn't of pulled me up.
