A teenager has admitted raping a 73-year-old woman in her house in the south Taranaki town of Eltham last month.
Taerata Daniel Turahui, 17, also pleaded guilty to five charges, of sexual violation and one of burglary when he appeared in Hawera District Court yesterday.
He was remanded in custody for sentencing on August 31.

That kid was a prick, I'm not saying he deserved to die but if he hadn't been doing something wrong he would still be alive today. His family said he was just a "normal 15 year old" if they think it's normal for a kid to be out in the middle of the night tagging property then they are partly to blame, that kid was on a road to nowhere.
