No, Vince doesn't allow him to because he is one of the top moneymakers. Edge has far more experience taking bumps, he's the safer guy to throw into a bunch of tables.

1st: edge vs. cena ruled. For all the cena haters you have to at least say he can do good matches, although edge did carry him it was an awesome match.

Well, no, John Cena is not a high-flyer. The WWE also does not have an "ultraviolent" style so he wouldnt be able to excel in that manner. John Cena has a diverse move-set though and being a former bodybuilder, he clearly has power. The reason that John Cena is at the top of the cards is because of the reaction that he gets from the fans. No matter what kind it is,he always gets a reaction. The crowd is electric during his matches. He is also a merchandise monster,selling double anyone else.
Its all about money with WWE, isnt it? Not about pride or the fans, Your just another dollar in their wallet. John Cena got pushed for three years, he's bound to get a reaction like anyone else. WWE used to have a Hardcore league, but they got rid of it, no suprise.
They got rid of it because a lot of the wrestlers were getting hurt and it wasn't necessary. I don't understand the argument that it is all about money, and that is somehow a bad thing. If it wasn't all about money, it would suck. WWE puts on the best matches in the world, and they make money. They need to put on good matches in order to make money. Its a business, that's the main objective to keep your company running. John Cena is the top draw because he puts on the best matches.
I reckon SNM could put on a better match than John Cena and anybody in the Idies give more to their fans than everyone in WWE put together. Yet, in the indies, they dont get paid nearly as much. What is wrong with wrestlers donig what they do best, instead of just Irish Whip, Kick to the mid section, Bodyslam to pin? Thats all I see.
That is all I see compared to matches in the Idies. They ar ealot more action packed with quite a bit of technical skill. Try ROH or PWG for technical wrestling, or CZW junior heavyweights for that matter. CZW or IWA also contain quite a bit of hardcore, although it is not just a spot fest.
I have watched matches that I enjoyed in ROH, most notably the ladder war with The Briscoe Bros, even though the ending was a little messed up. I have yet to see a lot from PWG but hear good things. I can't enjoy CZW but I can see why people would. Ive seen some pretty good matches in IWA, mostly those involving people that would later be employed by the WWE, like the Guerrero vs Mysterio vs Punk match and the Punk vs Hero matches. That said, I still feel the WWE is head and shoulders above all.
Diverse moveset? We're talking about the 21st century Hulk hogan. "Ok, let's put a little bit of mixed offense, have the face get smacked around for 6 minutes.... now then, shoulder tackle, hip toss, reverse powerslam, 5 knuckle shuffle, F-U... and maybe we'll through the STFU in...." BAM! I just booked a John Cena match.
Yeah, because he only has 6 moves right? WRONG!!! IDK what a reverse powerslam is, but he does the protoplex, fisherman's suplex, throwback, DDT, Backbreaker, Sidewalk Slam, Second-Rope Famouser. Thats 7 outside of the 6 you already named. Thats 13 moves that he does pretty regularly. Thats a pretty high number of moves right off the top of my head.
My point is that, in general, every Cena match is a carbon copy of every match. And by the way, the protoplex is the Reverse powerslam. Just couldn't think of the move name off the top of my head. And seriously, when was the last time he did the DDT, fisherman's suplex, Throwback, or sidewalk slam? It's been quite a while. In fact, it's been A LONG time since he's used the throwback on national television
If Cena's matches have the same moves, that is not his fault Dude. That is the fault of the booking. He can put good matches. Watch his matches with RVD, HBK even the Last man standing match with Umaga. He has the ability to put good matches and perform. But the booking in god damn ridiculous.
Well, it doesn't take a good wrestler to put on a good match if the guy he's partnered with is good at putting even the suckiest guys over. True: Cena does have the potential to put on good matches. True: Cena is doing a TERRIBLE job working with what his booking. I mean come on, in every match, he doesn't put any offense in for the meat of the match, saving it all for the 5 moves of doom. Good matches have ebb and flow, and you just don't see that in cena's matches.
OK, so that second "True" was terribly worded. It should say True: Cena is doing a terrible job working with what he's been given. Watch Cena vs. HHH, then compare any other match with Cena or HHH vs. a lower card superstar. You'll notice that the HHH ones always tend to be better. Why? Because the main event talent shouldn't just be good, they should be good at making everyone else look good, which is why Michaels, HHH, and even RVD can make Cena look good.

No, Vince doesn't allow him to because he is one of the top moneymakers. Edge has far more experience taking bumps, he's the safer guy to throw into a bunch of tables.

1st: edge vs. cena ruled. For all the cena haters you have to at least say he can do good matches, although edge did carry him it was an awesome match.
2: No match with DX could be bad. And this one was by far no exception. Awesome fucking match.
3: Not a bad match. Again cena was carried by sabu. No wonder all of ecw left, they were treated like dogshit.

John Cena is a stain on Proffessional Wrestlnigs reputation. Real greats like "Sick" Nick Mondo, Necro Butcher and Wifebeater are better wrestlers, yet, all because of money and WWE's name, they never got a chance. OK, so you like the more extreme style of wrestling, involving those like Necro Butcher in CZW. Im sure these guys are talented, but they have no place in the mainstream world of wrestling. John Cena is the best worker in the world today. The man could put on a good match with anybody. Calling John Cena a stain on Professional Wrestling's reputation is just ridiculous. Prove to me that this man is a bad wrestler and ill agree with you, but no one has done it yet.

Have you ever heard of a guy called "Sick" Nick Mondo? He was the best wrestler. He could mix technical, high-flying, ultraviolence and power all in one character. Now can you tell me that John Cena can pack all of those into his character? Also, Vince is selling him over with the fans. I have never seen such forcing of a wrestler to be "in with" the fans in my life.

Well, no, John Cena is not a high-flyer. The WWE also does not have an "ultraviolent" style so he wouldnt be able to excel in that manner. John Cena has a diverse move-set though and being a former bodybuilder, he clearly has power. The reason that John Cena is at the top of the cards is because of the reaction that he gets from the fans. No matter what kind it is,he always gets a reaction. The crowd is electric during his matches. He is also a merchandise monster,selling double anyone else.

Its all about money with WWE, isnt it? Not about pride or the fans, Your just another dollar in their wallet. John Cena got pushed for three years, he's bound to get a reaction like anyone else. WWE used to have a Hardcore league, but they got rid of it, no suprise.

They got rid of it because a lot of the wrestlers were getting hurt and it wasn't necessary. I don't understand the argument that it is all about money, and that is somehow a bad thing. If it wasn't all about money, it would suck. WWE puts on the best matches in the world, and they make money. They need to put on good matches in order to make money. Its a business, that's the main objective to keep your company running. John Cena is the top draw because he puts on the best matches.

I reckon SNM could put on a better match than John Cena and anybody in the Idies give more to their fans than everyone in WWE put together. Yet, in the indies, they dont get paid nearly as much. What is wrong with wrestlers donig what they do best, instead of just Irish Whip, Kick to the mid section, Bodyslam to pin? Thats all I see.

That is all I see compared to matches in the Idies. They ar ealot more action packed with quite a bit of technical skill. Try ROH or PWG for technical wrestling, or CZW junior heavyweights for that matter. CZW or IWA also contain quite a bit of hardcore, although it is not just a spot fest.

I have watched matches that I enjoyed in ROH, most notably the ladder war with The Briscoe Bros, even though the ending was a little messed up. I have yet to see a lot from PWG but hear good things. I can't enjoy CZW but I can see why people would. Ive seen some pretty good matches in IWA, mostly those involving people that would later be employed by the WWE, like the Guerrero vs Mysterio vs Punk match and the Punk vs Hero matches. That said, I still feel the WWE is head and shoulders above all.

Yeah, because he only has 6 moves right? WRONG!!! IDK what a reverse powerslam is, but he does the protoplex, fisherman's suplex, throwback, DDT, Backbreaker, Sidewalk Slam, Second-Rope Famouser. Thats 7 outside of the 6 you already named. Thats 13 moves that he does pretty regularly. Thats a pretty high number of moves right off the top of my head.

My point is that, in general, every Cena match is a carbon copy of every match. And by the way, the protoplex is the Reverse powerslam. Just couldn't think of the move name off the top of my head. And seriously, when was the last time he did the DDT, fisherman's suplex, Throwback, or sidewalk slam? It's been quite a while. In fact, it's been A LONG time since he's used the throwback on national television

If Cena's matches have the same moves, that is not his fault Dude. That is the fault of the booking. He can put good matches. Watch his matches with RVD, HBK even the Last man standing match with Umaga. He has the ability to put good matches and perform. But the booking in god damn ridiculous.

Well, it doesn't take a good wrestler to put on a good match if the guy he's partnered with is good at putting even the suckiest guys over. True: Cena does have the potential to put on good matches. True: Cena is doing a TERRIBLE job working with what his booking. I mean come on, in every match, he doesn't put any offense in for the meat of the match, saving it all for the 5 moves of doom. Good matches have ebb and flow, and you just don't see that in cena's matches.

OK, so that second "True" was terribly worded. It should say True: Cena is doing a terrible job working with what he's been given. Watch Cena vs. HHH, then compare any other match with Cena or HHH vs. a lower card superstar. You'll notice that the HHH ones always tend to be better. Why? Because the main event talent shouldn't just be good, they should be good at making everyone else look good, which is why Michaels, HHH, and even RVD can make Cena look good.

and the tna payperview at the norfolk scope
the best match at raw was michaels vs kennedy
tna had an awesome opening tag team turmoil match, sharmell had the crowd hyped, jay lethal vs petey williams was good, and the main event was better than raws
