  • Hello, I enjoyed watching your video. I am also a welder but, it's different type of welding. We're using quartz glass and we're also dark glasses or dark helmets.

we used glass rods for welding using our two to three fingers to run the rods.

this type of materials or parts are using in the silcon valley and using Hyrogen and oxygen. I have a 20 plus working experinces. Do you think i can adopt my skill to this type of skill?

    Thank you.

  • @intltrade09 probably but metal seems to be more fluid than liquid glass but its easy once you get used to it

  • Its like hes trying to read something as hes talking.

  • globalweldingservices dot co dot uk

  • easy to use my ass

  • santa welding :D

  • "EASY TO USED!"

  • Did you say AL-UM-IN-UM?

    That is not right.

    "AL-UM-IN-I-UM"

    Is that too difficult?

  • @MrShakesFist In America, they spell it and pronounce it differently.

  • @MrShakesFist i fukn recon

  • @MrShakesFist "Alumium" was the original term as set forth by Humphry Davy, though he later changed this to "aluminum". Your proposed "correction" of "aluminium" came from a carping, petty prig more content to harp on trivial matters than establish any landmark contributions. I suppose you can relate.

  • good info on your vid. but tig is not so easy. mig is easy. practice makes perfect. most peoples problem is they dont know what gas to use... argon or helium mix? helium mix sems to work best for aluminum, pure argon for most everything else.

  • Good info on TIG. Search brazilwelds to see tig through the lens. good series of vids and info.

  • Very usefull!

  • sir,cn i ask what are the BLUE PRINT? thank`s im new in weldeng i want to know more about weldeng thank` a lot and more power!!!

  • lol easy you say huh

  • Nuke-you-ler?

  • Is TIG welding similar to soldering?

  • It is! You need a bit more coordination though, seeing as you have a pedal controlling how much amperage you're sending through the tungsten - usually you set your TIG welder so that you can just give'er and push right down on the pedal and just start feeding your filler rod into the puddle. I'm 19 and I'm already better than most of my high school teachers.

  • I'm currently in school now and my adviser wants me to test early for my last brazing lap weld test, so i can start mig, i have experience in mig welding but i was wondering if there is a easy rule to determine to correct setting like the rule of thumb for stick

  • General rule of thumb for MIG (and I'm sure you've heard it before) If you've got your dials set right, your weld should sound like "sizzling bacon" If you don't know what that sounds like, get cookin'.

  • i averaged a score of 96 on all my MIG weld tests and a 98 in TIG welding. My adviser is giving my a internship for being the top welder in my class, thanks for the tip about MIG it helped me when practicing for my tests. if i get hired on the spot in my internship my teacher said that i will automatically get my diploma

  • @OfForceAndChaos not quite the rule but close i guess with MIG if youre getting a lot of buckshots or feel the wire kinda pushin you away then you have too much wire if you see the wire meltin all to heck as soon as it comes out of the nozzle then u have either too much heat or not enough wire MY basic settin is a 28-30.5 at about a 2 and a half on the feeder but thats just me and not every machine is the same

  • how can i do welding as a career...do i have to go to school....

  • you need to be ICAR certified for automotive work

  • you don't essentially have to go to school, but the school will probably have an intern/extern program that helps.

or you can apply for any number of jobs at a manufacturing plant. and keep as close of an eye on the welders as you can.

just a thought. also if you know any welders that helps too.

  • how do I stop the tungstin from balling when doing alloy ?

  • Balling happens on pure tungsten electrodes when welding in AC (like for aluminum).

On a higher end, inverter based TIG welder you can adjust the wave form in such a way that you are mostly putting energy into the material (electrode negative) vs.into tungsten. So the tungesten stays cooler - and doesn't melt. See Miller's dynasty series fore example

  • don't use shitty ass pure tungstin

  • you dont want to mate when tigging alloy you want a ball end i had the same problem then i got put threw nvq1 ages ago and i asked the bloke and he said a sharp point for every metal BUT alloy hope this helps

  • you have sharp end for stainlesss, black steel, steel and almost every metals exept light metals like titanium aluminum and metals like that you will have ball end and AC current not DC

  • very hard process 2 master i mean on pipe.dont forget your not standing in a nice booth on the job, most times your twisted up like a pretzel.

  • sup everyone. i just bought a tig welder and i would like to know what the technic is. i hear its hard then i here its no hard. i really good with a mig welder. is there that much of a difference. please let me no

  • Best part of TIG welding is how versatile it is, and it's not very hard to get the hang of. It helps to figure out how to feed the rod right, by getting it "underneath" the heat.

  • Dont read too much about welding, just jump into it and learn it while you weld.

I work as a Industry Mechanic apprentice, and I first learned how to TIG weld, then I learned how to MIG/MAG and electrode weld.

It's difficult in the beginning, but when you figure out how you are supposed to weld, and learn the basics of the technic, you will quickly understand how you TIG weld. I think it took me like 50 hours of welding before I could make useable welds.

  • your exactly right thats how I learn plum ENERFAB.

  • took me adjes to pick up how to tig weld but once mastered invaluable especially for aluminuum .make sure you dont give yourself arc eye its very uncomforatble like conjuctiveitis

  • diavidproductions ur a lil fag if u r so good at it u would be able to tell him more git a new job if ur a welder cause ur ass will end up fired if ur a tig welder

  • Great, maybe you should make some videos to show us how it is done. Better yet, do you want to teach me?

  • Actually that does not help at all. Don't get a job teaching!

  • yea um.....so thanx for the definition but how do you do!?!?!?! dumb old man

  • practice take a class in school or some thing like that

  • where were the techniques??? he just told us what a TIG welder is!

  • actually, he didn't even mention that it's a Tungsten electrode, or that the gas used is pure argon or helium. for the record, anybody who wants to learn TIG should start with oxyacetylene, otherwise you'll spend months grinding and lots of money on new tungsten. oh, did I mention the tungsten mix used is radioactive? try to keep it away from your balls. and yes, I did go to a year of vocational welding. mine look awesome....

  • yeah, when i first learned TIG, i spent a lot of time grinding down those tungstens haha!

  • Dude

    You can't weld!!!!

Contact me and I will SHOW YOU HOW!!

    Ken

  • lol that is fuken hillarious. what a dumbnut

  • aluminum it is a metal you dumb ass,,,,but is a non iron metal,,,or inoxidable metal ,,,,you americans,,,,don't know sh..t:)))

  • Do you know what you are talking about?? What is inoxidable mean because I have news for you, It's not a word.

And also Aluminum is a medium active metal which means it does oxidize.

    DUMBASS

  • You see in Canada, people talk a little different from the way people in other countries do.

  • lol

  • lol yes it is.

  • yeh it is.

    tosser

  • He is introducing Tig Welding (to people who have not heard of it), not telling you have to Tig Weld... Learn to read the title.

Robinson91r - America is based on

foreigners (unless you are an Indian) and foreign investment.

  • about those techniques

  • From the welding i have seen in the U.S, you should take the guy up on his offer :)

  • Can u please help me to get a job in usa ?

  • There are no more jobs in the USA they're all overseas!!!!!

  • @mvikngs84 look harder and stop making excuses

  • @Mrtrogerty good job

  • this was just a clip on tig. Not an instruction video. It seems you just found something you feel like bitching about to impress random ppl on youtube. And he is a very good welder by the way

  • wow i do this for a living too, and he's pretty damn good. so if you're so great, y don't you post a video

  • When you have some videos yourself hemigun you would be a better position to critize other peoples work. Untill then, keep your mouth in neutral pillock. Your sort is unwanted here go look at the kids stuff.
