i will not play tekken 6 ever again after my first try. tekken 4 was the best, while tekken 5 held onto it gameplay wise. But the heihachi vs kazuya storyline was thrown out the window it seems like! they should have settled it once and for all TO THE DEATH and for all the marbles. Now its about jin ruling the world...wtf!

makes me more pissed at buying tekken 6,(they left out the welcome to the king of iron fist tournament line!), the game feels rushed as hell even though it took forever to come out but i have a feeling tekken 7 will bring back the glory that tekken 3,4 and 5 maintained

I respect others opinions to who their fav character is, but Kazuya THA Mishima is my fav. Tekken 4 is my fav storywise gameplay wise and music wise (maybe not tht but still epic but all tekken games have epic music) i jus didnt like tha fact tht he was brought back to lose AGAIN :( Tekken is forever tha best imo!

I just used to play Tekken 4, but i dont god the game.i I played the game Tekken 4 six years.But from so much playing disc is scratched and now after I have tekken 5 on ps2 and tekken 6 on PSP.
Definitely the most realistic and (imo) the best one, after this one everything went more like an anime and fantasy stages and whatnot, but this one stayed true and realistic. Don't hate any Tekken game though :3 I love them all.

Tekken 5 was vastly superior. This tekken was popular outside its fan base. I don't want Virtua Fighter- I want Tekken. That means fast gameplay, a minimal emphasis on blocking and parrying, and a huge emphasis on dodging and striking (and grappling)
Still, this game was fantastic. It just wasn't up to par. The makers even said so.
Tekken 4 is a perfect example of why Jin isnt needed to make a succesful Tekken game , I think his time was up in Tekken 3 tbh , all he ever does is get in the way of Kazuya =/

@Tyrik73 Totally agree , they should reboot Tekken , no continued storylines from Tekken 6 , keep about 10 of the original characters , have 10 original bosses , and then 20 completely new characters , swapping Jin for Jun Kazama I think either Kazuya or Lars should be the mascot , with Young Heihachi as the villain , the stories should be fresh and short like in Tekken 1, and music should be a bit more retro maybe? but similar gameplay from tekken 6 + unpredictable winner like Hwoarang or King!

@Tyrik73 If you have seen the TRUE history you will know that officially the Tournament was won by Jin Kazama not by Paul....Yes he(Paul) defeated Ogre in his human version but he was still alive and he transformed into True Ogre...So Paul lost for leaving cause he thought(he's stupid) that he would won...Jin came there and killed him..So everyone(in truth Heihachi) saw that he was the winner of the Tekken 3!

Tag Tournament is pretty awesome, changeable characters during a combat, they should just implement as a Team Battle Mode on a new Tekken game.

Tekken 4 was my first Tekken game - I got it on my 12th birthday almost 6 years ago :) Still love it!! IMO, it reigns supreme!!! :D

Tekken 4 is a perfect example of why Jin isnt needed to make a succesful Tekken game , I think his time was up in Tekken 3 tbh , all he ever does is get in the way of Kazuya =/

@Tyrik73 Totally agree , they should reboot Tekken , no continued storylines from Tekken 6 , keep about 10 of the original characters , have 10 original bosses , and then 20 completely new characters , swapping Jin for Jun Kazama I think either Kazuya or Lars should be the mascot , with Young Heihachi as the villain , the stories should be fresh and short like in Tekken 1, and music should be a bit more retro maybe? but similar gameplay from tekken 6 + unpredictable winner like Hwoarang or King!

@Arabman666 I respect that you have your own opinion and you were one of the fraction that did like the direction , but it's fair to say the majority of us pefer how the story went in Tekken 1 and 2 mostly - Tekken 4, had huge plot opportunities , but Jin completely wrecked it to bits for me personally , Its like the moment Kazuya was being utterly badass , the writers just ran in before fmv rendering and had to swap the character model for Jin before they collapsed from seizures :/

@Tyrik73 If you have seen the TRUE history you will know that officially the Tournament was won by Jin Kazama not by Paul....Yes he(Paul) defeated Ogre in his human version but he was still alive and he transformed into True Ogre...So Paul lost for leaving cause he thought(he's stupid) that he would won...Jin came there and killed him..So everyone(in truth Heihachi) saw that he was the winner of the Tekken 3!
