The money has to be taken from somewhere - you cant just pull it out of thin air to fix the budget. Everyone is so damn selfish and unwilling to compromise. California is bankrupt because 40% of all workers in L. A. County ( L. A. County has 10.2 million people )are working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants working without a green card.

When the employers are dealing with a cash business they don't want the government to know how many people are on their payroll because then the government will find out that the employer's actual profit is much higher. The the employer will then have to pay higher taxes. This problem is prevalent in most states and the extra tax buden falls on those of us who are honest and pay actual taxes. So in the end illegals and their employers are getting free services at our expense.

Illegal immigrants are not exploited otherwise they would be living wherever they came from. Only some employers do that, not all. Illegal aliens should be deported and employers should be heavily fined and/or imprisoned for helping illegals break the law. Let their governments feed the illegals families, not US citizens!
