I think that FL studio 9 was much much better then 10.... 1) new mixer suck, you can se notes and realase on DB meter much better, also for mastering it´s much better to see DB value then notes 2) I used that pattern window a lot, it was great 4 orientation. 3) you can no more split channels, I used to make beat in 1 pattern and then split it, it also automaticly named pattern channels.

i place a pattern in the piano roll then when its on my playlist the number at the top dont match up like on the piano roll its playin over the 10 mark but at that same time on my playlist its in 15 or somethin , not the same number's and its confusing , Help Plzzz ? =]

FL Studio looks handy, but as far as I saw in other programs there were no possibility to 'miss' the record button. It was obvious that tracks were not being built. Is there an option in FL to inspect tracks in the playlist as they are just being captured? Thanks!

@RiggyBail - Please Google "FL Studio Editions" and "FL Studio Features" the top links are pages comparing the versions. Yes Producer is the highest level of FL Studio. The main enhancement from Fruity to Producer is Audio Clips and Audio Recording. Pretty useful stuff :)

@SeattleStateOfMind Well you should upgrade to version 10. I have to say that version 10 is a milestone compared to version 8. There is absolutly no reason to not upgrade to 10 except you are a big fan of the old pattern-blocks ;-)
@ayoociscokush the Producer-Edition has more plugins and stuff included. Even Sytrus alone is worth buying the producer-edition. Simply go to the image-line shop, there you can see the differences of each version.
Ok, PLEASE READ! I just got Fl Studio 10 Signature Bundle yesterday (no lie), and i wanted to know how record like a syth that i got down but i couldn't make it sound the way i wanted it to in the piano roll. @alldienowyt - It's just extra plugins. That's why it's called Signature 'Bundle'. It's a bundle of Producer edition plus plugins. It's better value if you are interested in Sytrus, Maximus & or Hard Core.

These feature updates are fantastic. I hope in a future version recording audio will become more user-friendly. FL Studio really needs a simple punch-in/punch-out feature for recording.

" I wouldn't recommend buying anything for presets. I understand they can be useful to save time for sketch arrangements, but I wouldn't think you'd really want to use them for final results?.
hey i just re-hooked my midi controller to fl studio and it works great, lol but now my controller keys are acting like there weighted. I really need to hit the keys hard for sound! is there anyway to disable that feature? I dont know how I turned that on, lol. Thanks for the tuts again! ttyl

@DjCTrayProductions When you open to look for your songs click back to fl studio 9 data ,find what your looking for then load it . Just make sure that when you first open flstudio 10 , merge with fl9 data an all your samples an song data will play..peace

These feature updates are fantastic. I hope in a future version recording audio will become more user-friendly. FL Studio really needs a simple punch-in/punch-out feature for recording.

@OzDome - Then buy the program :) The demo allows you to export audio however. When you do buy you will get Lifetime Free Updates. You can't say fairer than that.

@Oamodio Use your own. Make your own. From ImageLine website "Import and export all popular audio formats such as .wav, .mp3 and .ogg, among many others. " I wouldn't recommend buying anything for presets. I understand they can be useful to save time for sketch arrangements, but I wouldn't think you'd really want to use them for final results?.

@haxbox7 - Pitcher is an auto-tuner yes. But you can also control it live via a MIDI keyboard or sequencer to create up to 4 voice harmony.

hey i just re-hooked my midi controller to fl studio and it works great, lol but now my controller keys are acting like there weighted. I really need to hit the keys hard for sound! is there anyway to disable that feature? I dont know how I turned that on, lol. Thanks for the tuts again! ttyl

FL is the machine music production more intuitive I've never seen before.
I don't understand why many people still complain FL saying it isn't good for productions, better Cubase. I guess always it depends on your ideas, if you know what you're gonna do.
Personally I prefere FL to Cubase.

New demo version user of FL 10 here & trying to learn all the included demo Plug-ins but it will take a while. If I buy the registered version now do the demo plug-ins stop working or will they still be there to tinker with so i can decide later if they are useful enough for me to buy ???? thanks !

@DjCTrayProductions When you open to look for your songs click back to fl studio 9 data ,find what your looking for then load it . Just make sure that when you first open flstudio 10 , merge with fl9 data an all your samples an song data will play..peace
