Carbon dioxide is NOT the cause of changing weather patterns. It's a huge hoax.

Think, carbon dioxide is what WE expel from our lungs by breathing, as do all animals including fish.

Plants breath carbon dioxide IN, and in turn give off oxygen, that we and all animals breath in. These are "life giving gases".

Now Al Gore's talking about a "Global Tax to the United Nations from every country in the UN."

nickcore2002 is half-right. The environmental movement has been massively infiltrated by charlatans such as Prince Philip, Maurice Strong, and Al Gore. Yet the core of the movement is very worthy and promotes greatly reducing pollution, taking care of forests, protecting biodiversity... no sensible person, I think, can argue with those objectives. A real solution - A Carbon Tax supporting Research is better than a Cap and Trade system because:

- Cap and Trade is too complex. How do you allocate the caps? Companies will lobby for whatever benefits them. Think about the government departments necessary for implementation. What a waste. A tax is much simpler. Determine how much carbon is being used, period.

- Spending money on research is much better than on lobbyists and paperwork and will more effectively reduce energy usage.

Dennis Kucinich is the most Green of all the Democratic Presidential Candidates running by far. Ralph Nader the Green Party Candidate in 2004 even said if Dennis Kucinich wins the Democratic Nomination that he would not run against Dennis. That's how Green ( Environmental ) he is.
