The hydrochloric acid reacts with the aluminum really slowly at first then once it begins to create those fumes, it gets extremely hot and the reaction accelerates until enough gas is produced to explode the container. It burns the crap out of your lungs.

lol i might pick a better way to get an explosion instead of burning the inside of your lungs. It would look great on far shots. For our explosions we went with a high pressured hose along with artillery shells.
