@WolfSmasher it could very easily be strategy. randal comes out on the 0:05's, so as long as you're paying semi attention to the timer you can do this stuff pretty easily. i've seen m2k use randal knowledge in matches to his advantage before.

Well, there are many slight modifications to the rule, but the most used variation of the rule in tourneys today is that you can't counterpick with a stage that you've previously won on.

That's not technically part of the rule because that technically applies to anything. In theory, a grand finals match between two top players could be an itemfest on a banned stage with 10 lives each. It really all depends on if the players agree to it or not.

I love seeing fox and marth lose, although I have to admit colbols fox has some amazing shine spikes, for some reason the smash community seems to have forgoten all about shine spiking in favor of up smash and upair all freakin day. Great set though, very entertaining, although I like watching scars falcon a bit more than darkrains.

once you get to a certain level at smash, getting better becomes just filling the holes in your game (i.e. having a response to as many situations presented by opponents as possible). moonwalking is cool, but in the end it doesn't do much for one's game that can't be done in a different way. deception and edgeguarding, maybe, but that's about it...

I've seen SS incorporate moonwalking into his gameplay pretty well and it is very effective. I understand what your saying, moonwalking isn't that useful. Not like wavedashing, lcancel, shffl, etc...but it can still be useful, and it won't make your game any worse if you use it right.
