Good interview, like the question about the UK. Ben was right about the UK loving CS but being shit at it. We had a good community but only 4Kings and Dignitas as okay teams.
8:12 *sigh* I hate how the NASL does that. They don't give a shit about their viewers, so they don't even tell people a certain match won't occur just so they can get a few extra viewers. They even go out of their way to make sure no one finds out... so fucking ridiculous.
but look at the rest, incontrol, machine, strifeco, etc.... lol.. either they dont train properly in the house, or they are just not talented in the game
@gabe228 so are you trying to say that the house isnt working? because I think we have heard from enough EG players themselves that the house has been quite effective. Listen to incontrol on state of the game.
@v3tt3dud3220 i listened to the state of the game, incontrol and artosis argues that BY NEXT YEAR, everyone in EG should rip everyone once the gaming house sinks in, but Artosis the condition that that is if other foreign teams dont have gaming houses, or dont go to Korea, etc lol... So basically they gave themselves a way out even if their predictions turn out wrong next year, by saying that the better foreigners over EG is because they trained in korea, etc.
@v3tt3dud3220 I'm not agreeing nor am I disagreeing with you, but the EG players are going to support the house regardless of whether there's any truth to the critism or not.
@v3tt3dud3220 but let's really see what happens next year once the "gaming house benefits" are digested. Let's really see if Incontrol, strifeco, Machine, etc are really going to "rip everyone". But obviously, they will always come up with some excuse or rationale if their results ends up as shit as this year. My prediction for next year: idra, huk, puma continues to be strong, while maybe axslav and demuslim gets better. Incontrol, machine etc. gamehouse or no, same shit
Love Ben, Amazing guy but I don't think he answered the 'Gaming in the UK' Question really well. That questions brought up a lot and the only person that's really hit the nail on the head is TotalBiscuit.
Living cost are so High over here it's impossible to live off E-sports unless you're winning frequently. There's almost no way to can make a living of pro gaming in the uk it's as simple as that.
@Purple22200 You can't really live anywhere with eSports unless you are salaried. Most pros hardly take home any money, that's why they have to resort to streaming. What you are saying is not exclusive to the UK.
Thats not a valid argument, because living costs are even higher in countries like Sweden or Germany and still, the scences in those countries are way bigger.
@Fimbulbeelze Well Germany is one of the cheapest countries to live in when comparing an average persons salary to living, social and state costs, Thus making is extremely viable to live as a pro-gamer.
Trying to single out the E-sport scene to countries is stupid especially when talking about Europe. Take out UK, Spain and France and leave the remaining EU countries and you have some of the best name in all E-Sports hailing from those countries alone with their Scene been the most developed.
never stop fighting demuslim! your a huge insperation, been following u since you broke your arm the first time =)
