I'm a light skinned black guy, and something similiar has happended to me. I burned my face with a acne medication, and I know your pain, and everyone on this video who has had a chemical burn. It sucks! You self-esteem drops to a low, and you kinda try to hid your face. For the discoloration, I would recommend micro dermabrasions, but I truly recommend you seeing a dermatologist if you want to help correct your skin pigmentation. I know your pain sister, but keep up the fight!

@lovejasonmrazful If I were you I would not put makeup on top of the burn until it starts to scab up. I recommend that you use a medicated ointment just like you would for a cut on any other part of your body. I also used aloe vera gel and that helped soothe the burning and discomfort. I used it on my upper lip area, left a huge red/dry burn everywhere it touched and I only it on the minimum time recommened. I put aloe on it but I still felt the pain for a few days, it was dry so putting makeup on didn't help to cover it.

@plootawan I applied aloe vera gel to the areas twice a day for three days. It wasn't noticeable after five days.
