  • @Xeldominicano2k once u can get ur feet on the ground then start on the ground. before i could get them on the ground but i couldnt pull myself up yet. then after practicing on hard ground i got it

  • Did it on my first try, I find it pretty easy but im pretty sure it doesnt look as good as a mastered one right now.

    I did a few fancy Tae Kwon Do moves after doing the Kip Flip, feel like im Jackie Chan now lol.

  • For practicing the bridge, I would suggest 3 sets for 20 seconds.

  • how long do u keep it in the bridge position before u collapse back down?

  • you don't need to be in a bridge position at all, he just used that to demonstrate the position of the hands

  • do you have to have abdominal strength?

  • The kick does most of the work, so you need good legs and hamstring. Lower back strength and flexibility help too...

    However, having said that, I dont think strength is a concern. Overall athletic ability is what you need.

  • Well its possible but of course much harder to learn, you won't can do it after 2 days and you need good muscles in the arms and of course you should be able to do a bridge..

  • Kip-Ups don't requir much strangth in the upper part of the body if you do one like this (no offence) but creating lots of power and speed in the thrust of the legs is the trick. P.S.: You must of used lots of power in your arms to get as much air as you did.

  • Is power a big issue on this?...when i try to do it i feel i dont have enough height... and i just fall right down on my back

  • It's really just timing and technique. I learnt on a bed, if you practice using the bounce from a mattress or trampoline it really helps you get the timing.

  • yes i also learned by doing it on the bed, But strength is also an important matter here, by doin heavylifting your increasing your muscles and you learn faster how do kick ups by just pulling yourself up with the arms

    You're an idiot. This move is very simple and easy to learn, I know a 12 year old girl who can do it. The kip-up is more about technique than strength.

  • o btw if ur landing on ur butt after being on your feet for a moment, ur probably not pushing up. push your legs more up than forward. also, practice on abed it makes life much easier.
