Forgive me if i offend the modern day gamer, but give me quake2 any day of the week. i used to play online all the time and this was my fav game ever to play. it had good game play, good weapons, good graphics, but quake 3, 4, and this one look too cartoonish for my liking. they don't make em like they used to :(

Ten years later, still nothing like it. Madness, shadows, crackling, gibs everywhere...

Yes, this is the multi-player aspect of Quake 3 that can be played for free but only through the internet, you can't download the game or anything as far as i know.

you need to dowload a small plugin, and yes, quake live is played in your web browser. theres already a similair game out, by the creators of Tibes, called Fallen Empire: Legions

Eh I heard there is bad lag between the keyboard and the mouse. Releasing a dedicated keyboard and mouse would make sense to microsoft because it is the best control method for fps's and there is a tonne of fps's on the console. Either they should release a keyboard and mouse or make multiplayer games that are better suited to a joypad DMC 4 or ninja gaiden deathmatch maybe.
