I find this song a little bit unfitting for the moment... the "final dungeon" song was so slow and deep... then came this song, much faster, in the "last battle". A very remarkable song, anyway.
Zenestro.. product of the era. Yea, it's bang-bang quick by today's standards, but with the limited memory space for text on those old cartridges, they didn't have room to make a big long scene... coupled with a 1980s era translation, that's what you get. Was absolutely amazing for it's time, but those old RPGs had not always aged well in some ways.
I love how the game is so quick to say how Alis's brother is happy in Heaven, and that we need to hurry to meet the governor, all right after we kill Lassic. JUST AS SOON as he disappears off the screen.
