Great video.i just found out while doing research into my matron diety Artemis that when the greeks came to egypt thats when she became a luner diety and she was seen by the greeks as being associated with Artemis.

@Pagyptsian i see them as different because to me bast is a solar diety and always has nd will be i dont ever see her as a lunar diety yet i just find it hard to see her in that aspect.but maybe in time i cud start to see her in a lunar aspect aswell as solar once our relationship grows. )O(

Love the video! I've always felt close to Bast for several reasons. When my husband came home from Iraq he brought me a Bast statue from an Egyptian vendor. I use it as my Goddess statue.

Excellent. Bast is a deity I look forward to working with and your video expresses why. Other than the perfume/embalming connection, were Anubis and Bast actually considered consorts at one time?

Another great offerings for Goddess Bastet is perfume. Make the perfume at least a month prior to the new moon as an offering and she will be pleased! After all, she is also the Goddess of perfume ;-) I make a specific perfume for her and it's safe for your feline familiar. Just a little dab behind the neck and also wear it during your ceremonial. I wear mine all the time and have many compliments.

She is also the Goddess of music, dance, and joy. During a ceremonial, I dance for her sky clad adorning the Eye of Ra and the scarab as a necklace. My candles is of Black, Gold, and Green. New Moon she is spoiled with perfume and chocolate as well as milk and honey. Full moon she is showered with crystals, stones, and catnips.
