  • High Roller Fun...

  • Fix your collar.

  • Let me get this strait. This is a bicycle. Most bicycle owners are not well off and it costs $80,000. Great marketing strategy!

  • instead of looking for a client in the street he should search at the super jets hangar of fucking rich people!!!

  • Fuck you and your 80,000$ Bike,Pussy

  • 1:58 is it clone day?

  • @9115Lcc Ha! That's actually the guy's partner... they were dressed similarly on purpose.

  • O-V-E-R-R-A-T-E-D

  • 120 mile range...BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 80,000?! get the fuck outta here. ill rather buy a car. 5,000 is a reasonable price

  • damn i have to get one!!

  • check out another german electric bike at grace dot de this one doesnt go 60 mph,but 30 mph easily and it costs 6000 euros. $80K is way too much.Put the motor from Blacktrail on a reinforced aluminum frame, lose CF rims, hide the battery pack somewhere inside the frame and the price will drop sufficiently.Sell it for $10K and I will buy it.

  • Heiniken commercial. Great*

  • These guys must be fucking crazy to charge $80,000 for a bicycle. It would have to be much more than a bicycle for me to pay that much.

  • @legr8est1234 it is much more than a bike!!!!!! it runs 65 mph.!!!!! its made out of F1 carbon technology!!!!! it took 4 years to develop just the engine and battery!!

  • @rcwilli1991 Yes, I understand that this is probably the price they need to put on it to make a profit, but it makes no sense to a consumer. For $80,000, you could buy yourself a very good car, or an incredible motorcycle, or a Schwinn electric bike for about $2500.

Sure, the latter doesn't go 65mph, but then again, if you want to go fast, why not buy a motorcycle that goes much faster for much longer? Plus, it's probably illegal to ride this bike w/out a helmet, and probably some license.

  • @legr8est1234 I am pretty sure that it goes 65 mph. Its a german bike which was built by german engeneers. they dont say things which arent true!!!! they say it because they are proud of it and know that it is true! why to buy it?, well it is truly very expensive, and offcourse you could buy a car or a good motorbike for it, but it is the idea of a fast BICYCLE with innovative technologies and an go green... :P

  • @rcwilli1991 I was referring to Schwinn's electric bike when I said it doesn't go 65mph. As for this $80,000 bike, it probably does go that fast.

And while I like the idea of going that fast on a bicycle, that's not going to happen with this because its ability to go this fast will cause it to be considered a scooter by the law. So, you'll have to use the road and wear a helmet, and you'll probably need a scooter license.

The fact that it's way more expensive than a motorcycle is a turn-off.

  • if this bike is so good for the environment, you should mass produce it so everyone could afford. right now you are just making it as a collector's item, people that buy it will not even use it as it's intended to. what a load of crap.

  • אופניים במחיר 80000 דולד

  • 80 grand.... yeah... I'll take a Cadillac instead.

  • ride it. don't talk about it.

  • wow...80k for 1.....all carbon fiber.....and people wonder why the LFA is so expensive....1 LFA or 4 of these bikes?

  • Way cooler than a the ultramotor A2B! But also 30x more expensive :P

  • ugly...

  • The future of transportation? Let's hope not :)

  • I think the speed would exceed the limitation for qualifying as a bike any many places here. You would probably have to register it and tag it. This is a bike for the rich, like the Chevy Volt (that the gov't. subsidizes).

  • Watch Jay Leno testing the Blacktrail Bike at jaylenosgarage(dot)com.

  • 667 eh? Wait! That's the neighbor of the Beast!!!!

  • Excellent design and beautiful construction. Don't think I'd chain it to a light pole with at cable lock and expect it to stay there...lol. Does it have any suspension....I couldn't quite tell.

  • Nice bike, but totally rediculous price!!! Take a regular mountain bike, add an electric motor wheel and regular lithium-ion battery and you can go 60 m/ph no prob, and role for at lease 100 miles on a charge for about 500$ + the bike. No need for this carbon fiber crap! But it's a good idea though, now all the millionaires will be able the run a green bike! As if they use bikes!! hahaha!

  • Uhhh, demonstration please. And $80K? For bored rich people with nothing else better to do with their money rather than actual bike enthusiasts.

  • Where is more info about this bike?

  • con esta crisis,no encuentran la manera de sacar dinero porque saben que en estados unidos hay locos que han pagado miles por cualquier basura con tal de publicar en los medios sus nombres 80.000 me harian felices por el resto de mi vida en mexico

  • Now I see why it's $80K, vented brakes from Porsche!

  • crap. buy a night rod

  • Ill buy a ducati. Have money left over for the gas im gonna burn and for new sets of tires..bahaha what a waste of cash..

  • LOL we wrap your bike in leather and charge you $80k. losers

  • I also love the leather-covered 'handcuffs' on his belt which is actually the bike lock.

  • For 80 Grand, I expect a better speedometer

  • well U CAN GET A FUCKING GREAT 1000CC moto with that money and less kk.

  • Sorry I will not pay 80grand for a bike. It's cost more than a luxery car.

  • a fool and his money are soon parted. only lance armstrong would be getting this thing up to 65 and he sure as hell wouldn't be doing it for 100 miles. and furthermore, could they find someone to sell this thing that isn't such a smug douche ? I wouldn't buy $10 sunglasses on a street corner in NY from this guy. realistically, this bike probably tops out at 23-30mph unassisted, and has a range of about 30 miles if you are lucky. beautiful carbon frame though I have to admit.

  • 80.000 for a manufacture cost of what? lol noobs

  • I want to see the bike not see him talk... And If see that bike on the street, I will steal it and sell it and get a f-ing car.

  • Someone want to lend me 80k?

  • still wouldn't buy it if it was 10k

  • @tdreamgmail buy it for 10k and sell it for 80!

  • Nice bike, great carbon work. There is, no way, other than recouping research costs, that this bike is worth $80K. Is that a swing arm on the back? Single pivot? Needs more time invested in suspension. Look to DH world of MTB. Looks like a fan-boy bike. Let's see you roll up with cut-off blue-jeans, Tom's shoes, courier bag, and $10.00 cup-o-joe. Sorry, I love bikes, support biking, just not the trend in the "fixie" (top 40 music, lady gaga) world.

  • with the way bikes are stolen in NY you probably cant own this in NY probably impossible to secure

  • @zoemayne Leaving any kind of carbon fiber bike locked up outside in NYC is a bit crazy, but you have to think that the person who can afford this probably has enough office/home space to keep it inside. That aside, if you want an electric bike in NYC, you certainly don't need one that goes 65 mph or that can travel 120 miles on a charge. Google it up, and you'll find lots of affordable hub motor conversion kits for a DIY electric bike project.

  • when we run out of oil it will be worth over $500,000

  • It has Hope Tech V2 Disc Brakes not Porsche as he claims. Their website even tells you that.

  • SICK

  • $9,000 cheaper than a BMW X6 M.

    nice...
