yep, i think that their songs a bit changed. indeed, i didn't even recognise the song as Linkin Park's in the first time I heard it but I did feel familiar with and liked 'the Catalyst' just before I found out it was LP's some times later!

I've always loved LP, but this is a bit strange to hear and watch at first. Defenatly different from the Linkin Park i'm used to, but I saw the change coming after seeing New Divide(which was awesome!).

I don't see why anyone is hating on this. I think this is a cool, if different direction for Park to go.

I have the new CD and yes it is a schizophrenic mix of sounds and styles and I FREAKING LOVE IT!!! Track 5 is my favorite, and this song is a close second. I have always loved Linkin Park and A Thousand Suns is amazing.

Different people have different point of views and different personalities. That is what most people forget and just make accusations blaming other people for mistakes that they were'nt even involved with. People say this is a step down from LP's normal sound. I say it's just a nice change of pace. Some songs can be categorized as beautiful, some soulful, others demonic, and some entertaining. Linkin Park revolutionizes music. There is no such thing as bad music. Just different tastes.

Excellent song and video. In fact, the entire album is nothing short of a work of genius. I'll admit I didn't really care for it at first, but once I realized just what these guys are trying to do and where they're going, I woke up to the creative genius of this new sound. Screw everyone of you bandwagon spoon-fed douche bags that don't have the intellectual capacity to recognize true creativity and artistic endeavor when you see it.

@C3rb3ruS9 agreed... people should appreciate the fact they've chosen a whole new path away from the usual sound... idk if anyone else noticed, but if you search up linkin park here on youtube, get a shitload of songs not even by LP... wtf? the point is, too many bands these days sound alike, with the same style and such... LP chose to separate themselves from imitators, and created a whole new genre of their own.. or should i say, a whole new identity?

Even though I can say I perfer Meteora and Hybrid Theory to A Thousand Suns and Minutes to Midnight, that doesn't make the songs off of the latter albums shit. It's always good to experement with different styles. Just like painters use other styles to grow in painting, Linkin Park is using different styles to grow in music c: At least that's what I think, anyway.

This song is very different. More electronic and it didn't sound like linkin park in the beginning. First time I heard this song I thought someone was pulling my leg. The song is ok Beat's pretty good but this song feels to long and the lyrics feel like they're repeating themselves.

Out of the Silent Planet by Iron Maiden is almost the same scenario, yet its an incredible, epic song(if you haven't heard it- go listen, great song). Its just a different style lyrics can go. I happen to think both of these are great songs, and can't wait to listen to the other songs on this album.
