This game is epic :) kind of like mercenaries mixed with something else . It is a great game and dirt cheap i got this for 5 pounds and red faction armageddon commando and recon edition for 4.98 its great but this is arguably better :~)

Instead of reseting the enemy troops when you beat the game they should have had the red faction confiscate the EDF uniforms and weapons to establish a new military for the free state. And perhaps they could have designed it so that the EDF would occasionally drop forces on Mount Vogel, and you would have to fight them off. To have the game perpetuate like it does kinda mitigates the rewarding feeling from beating the campaign.

PS - Buildings should eventually reconstruct!

I played the demo on PS3 and purchased it on Steam (but never bothered downloading) reason being- the original one is SO much fun.It ACTUALLY had destructible levels.......I mean, i managed to blow half a multiplayer map up once and it all fell down into a canyon. All you can do in this is blow up buildings.I want to tunnel into mountings and make pits of death with my rocket launcher :(

They forgot to mention the gravity thing too, Red Faction's physics engine presents gravity as if it were on earth but if you think about it, you would actually be much lighter. If they made a game that takes place on Mars that had actual mars gravity that would be really cool

Liked this game, but would of liked in single player if EDF could begin to try and take back sectors they lost, meaning you go back to fight them off. Also build up conquered areas etc! But was a lot of fun blowing the hell out of mars!
