It is a magnificent, splendid and wonderful transcription!

From 2:00 you begin to play in BACH style with basso continuo, and from 2:20 on it sounds like a prelude from BACH or a piece from his French Suites!

Also this transcription has some analogies to Liszt's Paraphrase to Verdi's opera "Rigoletto":

You could call this not only a piano transcription, but a "paraphrase" over I will survive...!

SUPERB!! BRAVO!!!!!! You sure know how to make someone love a tune that they actually hate. I was tired of this song within 6 months of its release. I ran into Gloria Gaynor once back in 1983 in a health food store on second avenue in manhattan. She was quite pleasant, so I couldn't in all fairness tell her that I hated that sappy tune, so I kept my yap shut. This is a stunning interpretation of that song that I could easily listen to all day EVERYDAY!!! Bravo to you!
