I will never forget the Vancouver Olympics and how all Canadians came together as one despite some cultural differences....the Olympics definitely created some amazing memories that I, and many other Canadians, will never forget. • Sooo touching

  • Can anyone post the lyrics and translated lyrics of the french parts? Is it the same as I Believe by Nikki?

  • Comment removed

  • @Sight19 It's very similar in french, but it had to be changed a bit so that the words would fit the tune and rhyme. :) In french the title is j'imagine, which means "I imagine".

  • @Sight19 mostlyy yes, Ji'magine means i imgaine, i think they change that to suit the song, but its all pretty much the same as the english verison by nikki

  • @ayriebienti J'imagine is a french word meaning I Believe .... Those two girl are actually from Quebec (yes Nikki also!)

  • I'm envious of anyone who can sing in another language!

  • Personnaly, i feel very sorry for all the french speaking canadians who were been put aside during all the ceremony. 80% was in english. What about the french culture? Canada SUPPOSED to be an united country...Yeah right

  • @pierreluc3200 80% english?? YEAH RIGHT!!! there was WAY TOO MUCH french in the olympics, it needed to be 50-50 but it was 80% french.

  • Jadore cette vidéo tout simplement magnifique en français et anglais

  • i was like...wtf thats not French... the chick is speaking english

  • I miss the olympics it was a fun time

  • I'm half canadian and half mexican, and THIS song revealed my canadian pride. I remember when I watched it at CTV. I think I cried at this moment. Annie Villeneuve is fantastic but Nikki Yanofski, wow, she's incredible. When I hear that song, i'm transported in another world, where all is possible. I wish I were here, in Vancouver. To assit to this magestuous and magic moment that have been the 2010 winter olympic games of which every canadian is proud of.

  • goooooooooosebumps.

  • i love this song and it is even better with the french and english together

  • Nikki's accent is getting much better.

  • Happy Canada Day!

This is a song also for everyone celebrating this holiday in all of Canada, especially its bilingualism and multiculturalism.

  • Happy Canada day everyone :)

  • Excellent duo

  • Nikki chante tellement bien pour son âge. Belle chanson, je l'aime mieux avec les deux comme ça. Depuis les Jeux Olympiques je suis encore plus fière d'être Canadienne. Proud to be Canadian.

  • This bilingual version of "I Believe/J'imagine" is rendered for the Closing Ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics last February 28, 2010. It was rendered by Nikki Yanofsky and Annie Villeneuve along with Stephan Moccio on piano, the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, and the Children of Montreal.

Nice song to inspire every Canadian, including its Olympic athletes.

  • Nice video !

    I like !

  • Show de bola.

  • i love the way they sound. the olympics wer amazing. the best experience i have ever had.

  • Nice song.

It is an inspiration to every Canadian to believe in themselves and achieve their dreams in whatever they do, like the athletes in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Nice bilingual rendition by Nikki Yanofsky and Annie Villeneuve.

  • im singing that for the grad.

  • were can i download this song its awsome canada rules so good both of them wow

  • they r both so gorgeous! they will become very well known singers in the future! =)

  • J'adore cet chanson.........Pardon my french, i'm actually an english-speaking canadian.

  • These two beautiful ladies reflect what it is Canada: English Canada and French Canada United as it HAS to be :) Vive le Canada Français et vive le Canada Anglais, pour un Canada Uni... très belle chanson bilingue qui reflète notre pays!!

  • man i love this song. i have a few things to say about this song because i am french canadaian . 1 it was really good both of them sang the song in fremch and english. and 2 i say that live on TV and 3rdly nikki looks a little like my cousin because shes from quebec and is fluent french. merci/tank you for the whloe world being good sports during the vancouver games in my country.

  • I love this rendition! Focusing on the two ladies is better then the one with the vignettes from the Olympics. Their attire was also real smart. They just seemed appropriate for this video, well except maybe Nikki's high heeled boots. : ).

  • I watched this right before the big hockey game... so proud to be canadian! J'ai vu ça juste devant le grand match d'hockey.... je suis heureux d'être canadien!!! (sorry if the french is a bit off :P)

  • i want to download this version and when this song is in full french. icant find it though. i have the version that annie sings with her singing the english in it too

  • Its so emotional when Fred Bilodeaux is huging his brother after he wins.

    Proud to be canadian.

  • I really love how French and English is mixed in this song! I realy love Nikki and Annie! God Bless our country, God Bless The Great White North, GOD BLESS CANADA !

  • Good day all, I'm French Canadian and proud of it. This song, is a big success in both language, but arrange like this ... WoW. All i can say, is great job to both.
