@adiamondonwings i believe most of the UK mcs come from the sound system culture and are much more inspired by dancehall, dub and reggae than rap music. they're not competing with teh KRS-ONE, Guru or ATCQ.

with hip hop i agree. but uk bass music (grime, dubstep etc) is more suited with a uk mc if you ask me..
