Damn this sounds a lot like MBV. I do remember reading things about their Japanese releases having bonus tracks, but I've never heard of this one.

The thing that gives me some doubt is that the vocal is slightly too high for Kevin Shields.

For me, it sounds closed to a band called "Medicine" (who are pretty hard to google), but who had a song on "The Crow" soundtrack (and youtube) called "Time Baby III".

If it *is* a hoax... that's excellent as well, means there'll be an album of this stuff.

Perhaps you should have done more research on MBV before you posted this?

Dave Conway was their vocalist up to 1987, and then it was Kevin & Bilinda ever since. Out of all of their recordings, MBV only had one "special guest" and that was a violinist on "Clare" from the Ecstasy EP.

This song comes close to replicating MBV's songwriting style and sound, but anyone who knows enough knows that it's not them. It's amusing that this song is passing as MBV, but it is a hoax and it should be stopped.

FYI, I recommend that you check out all of MBV's discography if you haven't done so yet. Their later stuff is much better, but even in their old, derivative days, they always managed to write a good, poppy tune. Cheers!

Also, it's apparent that I've rested my case with the poster of this track. I'm personally not interested in finding out who actually made this song, but I'll leave that to those who are. ;-)

If this is really a post-Loveless song, then this certainly documents' Kevin Shield's aforementioned "meltdown" that he had in the 90s.

Otherwise, I hate to ruin a good hoax. MBV fans will know this is a ripoff. In fact this sounds like a crude rewrite of "Come in Alone" that it verges on parody. Other clues? a. That's not Kevin or Bilinda's voice. In fact, this sounds like Billy Corigan without the constipation. b. My Bloody Valentine normally doesn't do demos. c. MBV doesn't use flange.

but with the voice if you listen to the "this is your bloody valentine EP" the singing in those songs sound nothing like kevin, or at least when i listened to them i was like "woah what the hell, this sounds nothing like his voice on like loveless or any other EP".

@koolami268 I'm not saying anything is "impossible", but if you listen to MBV's entire recorded catalog and other verified leaked material, Shields has a long history of gravitating towards certain effects and flange doesn't seem to be one of them.
