i found it! i found it!... i rember the ambient of the movie and the twins smoking... i saw part of the movie when i was a kid and never can't get it out of my head
@matbonucci my reaction was exactly like yours, i can't believe i found this, like after fifteen years, this movie has so unique scenes and characters that somehow they get stuck in your memory for years, amazing :)
This is the sort of film you either absolutely love, or just find a little creepy. I was one of the people who loved the film however it is undeniably a little strange, especially since I only discovered it about a year ago and I am used to the big block buster films like Pirates of the Caribbean and such like (however great those films are).
I think this film inspired me to become more adventurous in the things I choose to watch. I am especially more fond of foreign films now as well.
just the trailer on TV scared me more than any other film I've ever seen. Of course I was a child when I saw it. that music was stuck on my brain for 10 years x_x
absolument extraodinaire! i just love their work, it is unique and uncomparable to anything, this is a movie you will experience not watch. just like Lynch or Fellini, Kubrick, both filmmakers here are in my faves. Génial!
Genial!!
Loaded with esoteric symbolism.

Have you noticed red, green and brown are predominant colors in Jeunet's films? Oddly enough red + green = brown :)

It's a music in the movie, music composed by Angelo Badalamenti.
The name of this music is "L'anniversaire d'Irvin".
