  • I repainted the whole car Because of how bad it matched. At least in part. It's lime green metallic now.

  • dude repaint your hardtop man...look hella ugly

  • my 02 s2k made 209 whp stock other than skunk2 exhaust. I ran consistent 13.9 @ 100mph

  • well unless we ran our cars back to back on the same dyno, it doesn't really make for a comparison, but those are good numbers. I don't drag race, so peak power isn't really my number 1 goal.

  • @istdercollen

How are the koni yellow shocks? Stiff??

  • if you set the damping to it's highest, it will be noticeably stiffer than stock. It's a pain to install them as well because the shaft is thicker on the Konis when compared to stock. You have to drill out all the stock parts that are reused to fit, which I didn't know when I bought them. I got it done, but it took me almost 6 hours by myself.

  • Those numbers are correct for flywheel readings, but wheel horsepower is always less. 15-20% loss is normal for an S2000. Your car knowledge must be beat.

  • the car, ap1, has 153lb/ft of torque stock with 237hp, idk why your hitting 196hp with 133lb/ft. car must be beat

  • torque doesnt matter as much when you make power from 5k to 9k rpms

  • i also like how you almost set off someones alarm in the parking lot. i think you can do something about it. no one needs to know.

  • ...."ultra huge H." lol. thats where all the torque came from

  • Honda has never known for it's torque. Especially when the F20C motor. It's always been a high revving hp/liter monster.

As for those Dyno number, I'd say u are running fairly stock motor except with a few bolt on such as cat-back exhaust or intake, which does little to nothing most of the time. And that when u do the math it's actually very commendable with stock 240hp/crank vs 196hp/wheel.

  • hey I'm A-Stock. can't do anything about it. and I don't even think this car puts out over 150 at the crank on the factory specs sheet

  • how does the car pull?im a huge honda fan but i was considering a Z does this car match the hype or not?

  • The Z has more torque and HP. It will pull harder than an S2000 plus it will respond better to NA tuning than an S2000. HOwever the S2000 is much lighter and with some simple suspension mods can run rings around the heavier Z. hope that helps!

  • yea it does im really just lookin for a decent cruiser to modify im leaning towards the z but damnit the option to have the top down always pulls me back..thanks tho

  • good hp numbers. 133lb/ft of torque? you should work on that.

  • you need power to move a car. if the car has 200hp from 133ft pounds then its still 200hp. Regardless if it came from 1000lbs of 10lbs... 200hp is 200hp. to increase tq output, its really based on displacement and how much you use the displacement without regard to time. you should just strive for power output. increasing tq without increasing hp is 100% worthless
